Big up to Billy and everyone involved. This is the kind of positive stuff we need here in Dominica. Pity i had to work both dayz.
That guy that talking about private property he is not from calibishie and we don’t want him there so tell him just keep his as. quiet.
lmao…he owns the property so you illiterate fool might as well fall silent …whether you want him there or not he will be… :-D……happy new year…drink to that…
Notice to all. All unauthorized use of my property at Pointe Baptiste adjacent to the beach will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We need to start respecting the fact that this property is privately owned and that permission for its use needs to be requested.
we allways fight our own self . we never know wat we want . lets just appreciate and enjoy the event.
some dominicans they just like shatoo … eating their own foot.
Well done Billy. Looking forward to even bigger things to come.
Keep up the good work.
after that on new years day calibishie also has a beach bash with some young artists. at the sandy garzeboo. right next to coral reef supermarket. dj minime and top 6 sounds will be jamming u. come support young star, masterflick, global lynx and rising sun
i am pretty glad for my village Calibishie. that’s a good start for publicity
Wonderful.
Good work Billy et al.
Thats RAD, I cominig to Dominica for the Surf, it should be great.
to dominicans am all for this good things in d/a hope our young people can be part of this one love to dominicans its time for us to do our thing
I wander if the organizers sought permission from the land owner to set up on his property and whether permission was received. Dominicans too independent and like to violate people. The owners should file and injunction at the court to prevent any setting up on his property.
I AM INCENSED………………………..
next time WONDER instead…
You right WONDER. Happy you could catch that. Typical Dominican…………… Nothing to say about the issue though.
you right dear..typical DOMINICAN…..they have no knowledge of the issue mentioned…but, you have to realize Dominican’s don’t respect peoples property….over and over the Laville’s put up signs saying private property and guess what the ignorant fools take it down…
according to u ‘wander’.if u not sure if they get permission or not y r u making all that foolish comment.just support a good deed u ignorant fool
I know that they did not get permission because I have an interest in what is going on around there.
And when I say they did not get permission I know that. The beach is public but the adjacent property is private. you Jack a……………….
I own the property next to the scheduled event and am thrilled that an international sporting event will be held in Dominica and our community! Lets hope it’s just the beginning! Congrats to the organizers and hope all goes well!!
u only looking for your profit u want to claim the beach .
You’re right . he made every effort to buy this adjacent property. And mark you, he does not allow locals to access the beach through his property.
And I know that they did not receive any permission although they made contact with the owners mentioning the event.
From now on I will be seeking injunctions against anyone using my property without my permission. Red Rock has his own motives. He sees a gold mine for his restaurant. My biggest concern is that they will not clean the garbage left on the property. I have no issues with the use of the beach by the locals. It is one of the white sand and exclusive beaches on the island.
i totally agree….
My only motive in supporting sporting events in Dominica is the fact that I want our young people to see and be involved in a VERY positive activity.
I think it was a great thing for the young people. How proud would everybody be if a Dominican wins this contest in the future?
Truly a new area of tourism potential,,really hope all goes according to plan,,,,we will have to admit that the nature island is well poised to move on after —–let us applaud ourselves
They couldn`t have chosen a better place. The people of Guadaloupe and Martinique are quite familiar with the village of Calibishie, .Im pretty sure they looked at all the requirements needed for that event. I hope everything go as plan, just wish i was home to be a part of this occassion.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN CALIBISHIE YOU`RE THE BEST. God bless you all and the people and the Government of Dominica.
I agree they couldn’t have chosen a better place. I was there on the 29th and thoroughly enjoyed the event. It was a beautiful day and I wa surrounded by beautiful people. I met the surfers of Dominica, a group of young and positive young men and also the surfers from Martinique and Guadelope. I ws amazed by the talent of the young surfers. Surfboards were donated by the organisers so that Dominican youths can get involved in this sport. I shall certainly be going again this year if Dominica host the event.
great place to have it.am inviting ppl from all over dominica who want to c good surfing come to calibishie on the 29 ok. we gonna have a good time here.
Where in calibishie are the conditions for surfing?
I would like to commend the organizers for hosting such an event in Dominica. However , the location they chose to have such an event is not suitable and furthermore permission was not granted to the organizers….to my knowledge this is PRIVATE PROPERTY….
unless our laws have changed beaches in Dominica can not be privately owned and are open to the general public. We should keep it that way. Merry Christmas!
as far as i am concerned dear….that IS PRIVATE PROPERTY…. ASK ABOUT IT!!!!! soon very soon that property won’t be open to the general public….i am sure if that was your property u would be saying so…the land belongs to the LAVILLE’S…..
Bigup Billy…..you are the man!!!!!
Will be there on the 29th
Well done Dominica Tourist Board and all others involved. Good publicity for our beautiful island. May it long continue and in future bring even bigger names into fold.
Cudos to the organizers, however i do not agree on promoting Tommy items since he said on an Oprah show that he did not make his clothes for black people…. WAY TO GO ALDIVE
@……………. Get your information straight. Tommy never said so. It was a Hoax
This is a really REALLY!! good means to promote Dominica, i hope every goes as planned, and they have good waves.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
