ROSEAU; Dominica – Joel Hamilton, the school’s representative of the Dominican Amateur Athletic Association, is lobbying for their annual primary and secondary schools championships to be brought forward in keeping with the IAAF track & field season. He is also begging for more cooperation from the government.
For the past 30 years the schools champs have been staged in late October to early November to commemorate the country’s Independence Day celebrations on November 3.
“We (at the DAAA) are trying to get that changed because the meet comes in the off-season and we are not getting the support,” said Hamilton.
THAT A BIG REASON;
AND we asked ourselves why our kids are turning to smoking weed?
Because they don’t have any avenue to release there talent and tention.
Athletic is key to the development of young people, and it don’t take too much to set up an athletic field. As a matter of fact, every Stadium has a running track around it. that all it takes.
Athletic is the enhancer to all sports; what’s up with that, that soo saad,
THAT SOMETHING TO TAKE TO THE NEXT LEVEL,,,,,,,
