The Windsor Park Stadium in Dominica will see two international cricket matches in July when the West Indies clash with New Zealand during its Caribbean tour.
The stadium will host two Twenty20 Internationals on July 5 and 6.
The announcement for the match schedules was made on Saturday after a meeting of the WICB board of directors.
The New Zealand tour of the Caribbean scheduled for June and July will consist of three Tests and two Twenty20 Internationals.
The rest of the schedule is:
June 8-12: First Test – Jamaica
June 16-20: Second Test – Trinidad
June 26-30: Third Test – Guyana
The West Indies opened the international season of cricket in the Caribbean for 2014 when they played England in three ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals in February and March.
The West Indies won the T20 Series 2-1 and the result was reversed for the ODI series.
These matches were played in Antigua and Barbados.
The 2014 international cricket season in the Caribbean will comprise of a total of five Tests, six ODIs and six Twenty20 Internationals.
I can now confirm that elections will be on the 8th of July. The 9th for the latest.

Three Cheers for Dominica. My ticket book already. I in that too!!!
Let us show West Indies Cricket where people enjoying themselves and the sport in d Caribbean. DA – Nous konnet vive!
Credit to The Government for building this Stadium and for passionately negotiating with the WICB for games…And Credit to the wonderful people of Dominica for always supporting these matches!!! Thanks!!!
While I am happy for the T20 games, I am disappointed we did not get a test. I don’t anyone can argue that Dominica is the only Caribbean island that really makes test cricket exciting. Over the years cricket in Bados is very dread as they hardly have 2000 fans at the park. Although it usually better in Trinidad in terms of turnout, I don’t think West Indies have a home court advantage there. Guyana on the other hand is like planning to play cricket where a river is blocked waiting to be unblocked. I am speaking of the weather. But rain or not you hardly see 3000 there. But then again the WICB has already taken a decision to play more test cricket in territories that are tourist ready, and Domini9ca is no where close at this time, even if Mano would like to use his influence to help Dominica.
I in dat!!
