St. Luce Brothers released new song dubbed: ‘You’re My Queen’ for Mother’s Day

‘You’re My Queen’ is a new single written by the St. Luce Brothers to reflect and encapsulate the love and admiration we have for  their mother, as well as those cherishing and celebrating their mothers all around the world.
The St Luce Brothers (SLB) is a music band of singers, songwriters, and producers from  London featuring members: Joshua St Luce, Caleb St Luce, and Matthew St Luce.
The father of the band, Winston St. Luce was born and raised in Coulibistrie, Dominica. Matthew and Caleb were also born in Dominica.
Taking inspiration from the likes of The Winans, Andre Crouch, Jackson Five, Bee Gees, Temptations, Beatles, O’Jays, Boyz 2 Men, and more recent groups like The Migos and other musical instrument-playing groups, SLB now feel ready to challenge themselves and push their music careers to the next level by continuing to release their own originally composed, written and produced music. SLB believe they possess a diverse sound being able to write, produce or sing a range of music inspired by Gospel, Soul, Pop, Rhythm & blues, Hip Hop, Country, and even Opera.
“Following Hurricane Maria in 2017, we wrote and produced our very own charity single dedicated to Dominica: with Matthew and Caleb both being born there, and Joshua growing up there until the age of six, there is a shared love and many sentiments held towards our home country,” band member Mathew stated in an interview with DNO.
In the year 2022, the St Luce Brothers managed to release four songs amassing 60,000+ views across all streaming platforms, and wish to continue along the same vein with their 2023 releases. SLB now plan to release their first single of the year in March, a Mother’s Day song titled ‘You’re My Queen’.
“Similarly to some of our previous releases, the writing and production process originally took place from our home in 2017 when we first put together the song, recording under the name “MCJ Music” at that time. However, due to resources at the time, we were not able to release the song to the standard we envisioned for it. “
This year, they went to a local studio in the hope that they would have it ready for Mother’s Day 2023  so that this single could be the start and foundation of their 2023 discography.
The song encapsulates the essence and purpose behind Mother’s Day with emotive lyrics and the intention of portraying the love and appreciation we share for our mother, as well as mothers all around the world. We are delighted to have already reached 20,000 views on Youtube for the single as well as being featured in multiple magazines such as ‘Fame’ and ‘Illustrate Magazine’ with hopefully many more to come.
“In our group, we are all 100% hands-on during the creative/collaboration process. The bulk of the writing is done by the elder two, Joshua and Caleb, while the instruments production is overseen by the youngest Matthew (all in their 20s).”
Since they started as a group and whilst they work on their upcoming EP, Mathew stated the group maintains this approach in their creativity to ensure that their sound is consistent, with the effect of a part of each individual combined into one rich and refreshing sound for their fans and listeners around the World.
