Stabbing in Giraudel

stabbingOne man is in hospital following a stabbing incident which occurred in Giraudel on Friday night.

Information reaching Dominica News Online identifies the man as British national, Quentin Foulkes, who has been living in that community for a number of years.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Foulkes was stabbed by a 19 year old male from Giraudel.

Attempts by DNO to get an official police report on the matter have so far been unsuccessful.

I imagine that you have never read the Book of Revelation at chapter 3 and 4–otherwise you would have stopped making this fool of yourself as you speak through the production of that carnal mind condition of yours.

You keep speaking this stupid idea of yours that the “Catholic Church” is the only Church of Jesus Christ–as your people believe that Jesus had appointed Peter as the first Pope–there is no such information in the Bible.

Jesus simply declared that He would establish His Church by using the faith of those like Peter’s at Matthew 16: 18 as He said:

“I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this “rock” I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it”; for without faith man cannot deal with God. The term “Rock” in that verse above is a metaphor for Peter’s faith, meaning extremely strong.

Jesus also said: “Where two or three are gathered in My name I am in their midst–Matthew 18-20

Are you not denying the Words of Jesus Himself, when you foolishly say that the Catholic Church is the only Church of Jesus Christ? Or are you claiming that God is only accepting people who belong to the Catholic Church?

Well when He called me back to Church in 1980, after many years from not following with the Catholic Church, where I was raised and was a devoted Christian there, He told me that He did not want me back in that Church–the Roman Catholic Church.

God used the Leaders of the Pentecostal Church to boost my faith, but He filled me with Holy Spirit at home–not in that Church.

Today I am an extremely strong Christian, with a Church Family and serving God to the fullest, as He has assigned me to do so; He could not have done this work through me in the Catholic Church.

Nonetheless I don’t care for the name of my Church denomination–I have Life in Jesus Christ, not in the name of my Church. Continue reading below

    • July 15, 2013

It is probably that you do not even know that the Church itself, is the people, and God sees them as His “Family” in different groups and with different names–just the same as the 12 Tribes of the 12 sons of Jacob, whom God later renamed Israel.

Hence the “Children of Israelite” of ancients times were God’s chosen people, they were His “Family Groups” of 12 sons-should I name the 12 sons for you?

However today, the children of God are all of those who have accepted His Son, who is also His Person of Love through flesh and bones, for God is Love in Spirit, Truth, and Righteousness. Whether they are Jews or Gentiles–black, white, red, yellow, or brown.

Here are the Churches that Jesus has been watching and which He will judge at the appointed time, it is all in the Book of Revelation at Chapters 2 and 3

Can you please tell us, who are non-Catholics on DNO, which one of the churches among the 7 is the Roman Catholic Church? But why is Jesus judging 7 Churches if He only established one, as you are foolishly claiming?

      (1) The Loveless Church : the church of Ephesus

      (2) The Persecuted Church: the church in Smyrna

      (3) The Compromising Church: the church in Pergamos

      (4) The Corrupt Church: the church in Thyatira

(5)The Dead Church: the church in Sardis

      (6) The Faithful Church: the church in Philadelphia

      (7) The Lukewarm Church: the church of the Laodiceans

“And all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

That quote above is from Revelation 2 and 3. Now I suggest again, that you hold pieces of “garbage” in your purse.

Three major incidence I Giraudel one killing, a unexplained death and now a stabbing.

    • July 14, 2013

No jobs, drugs, frustration, and stress, in my opinion, had nothing to do with the stabbing of this person. This person was a resident of Giraudel for a number of years, known by many. What could have happened between himself and that young man to result him being stabbed. I hope he recovers, I hope this young man is held accountable for his actions.

    • orchid
      July 14, 2013

Why don’t you get your thinking to the ‘NEXT LEVEL’? Why don’t you blame the person for stabbing the man? The MP is not the one who committed the criminal act. No jobs, frustration and stress ARE NO REASONS for individuals to commit crimes. Some young people want too many things too soon. They need to pay attention in school and learn well so they can create jobs for themselves. Some who are hanging along the roadsides need to learn trade. Believe me, there are many jobs around for young people to do if only they think well. The MP is not to be blamed for this crime. Reflect on all the ‘GOOD VALUES’ you were taught by your parents and you will realize that no jobs is NOT A PASSPORT for committing crime. We pray that the gentleman gets better soon and that our young people wake up from the slumber in which they are steeped so that they can do things to improve themselves, family community and by extension the country in which they live.

In Giraudel! Again! People must transform their lives to godliness and respect for others. They cannot do it alone. They need the help of the government, politicians and social services including the church, the latter if they will pay heed to godly advice and teachings.
This brings to mind it is noted today that Dominica has more religions ever; than it needs. Yet crimes have escalated. If this If this trend of new religions continue there will be one religion per person or household. In bygone years we were doing very well without those new religions. In those days prior to those new religious people who infiltrated Dominica and formed their individual churches, we got along better, in love, peace and harmony without all those new-found religions. There were few disputes, if none at all about religious adverse opinions. There were far less crimes; only petty crimes.
I do not know why the government allowed so many non-Dominican so-called religious people to enter Dominica, who come to open shop/churches in Dominica. The government reserves the right to refuse entry to numerous different religious factions. This is something the government should clamp down on. No more new churches of different denominations should be opened in Dominica. Dominica has enough. And who are those people anyway? Where did they come from? What is their credential? Are they proficient in religious matters? Are they law-abiding people or were they where they originated from? The government should conduct an investigation into their past life.

    • July 14, 2013

Amen to that. Every religion is not faithful. If you continue practicing the OLD TESTAMENT there will be MORE crime, gay/lesbian, molestation and incest. You are right, how many religions do we need in Dominica? There are not many people on the Island anyway.

      • Justice and Truth
        July 14, 2013

Thank you! :) There are some who do not like to hear the truth. Sometime ago the thought came to me about all those religions which permeated Dominica in recent years and the crime/murder situation got worse, the likes of which Dominica never knew.
I know because I as others grew up happily in Dominica without fear of all what is presently occurring in Dominica. It is sad that it has come to that.
I read in a Toronto Caribbean papers that a man said he was going to Dominica to open a church. I made a copy of that article and wrote on it, “Dominica does not need any more religions.” We have enough.
For God’s sake! Why do they not go to those countries where there are primitive people and indoctrinate them where Our Lord may not yet be proclaimed?
Our Lord Jesus Christ was already proclaimed in Dominica and Dominicans did not need their evangelization. Dominicans had their religion and were happily practicing it.
In those days we were better off without some of them. We were doing very well without them in bygone years, happier, peaceful and safer.
Therefore, Dominica did not need all those religions. We were not short of religions in Dominica. There was already a path in Dominica for years which also our ancestors practiced.

I read this saying: “Do not go where the paths lead. Go where there is no path and leave a trail.”

      July 14, 2013

So Justice and Truth is it only your religion that is valid or the truthful one? You sound like a dictator. For you it is only the Catholic Church that is valid. Who are you to dictate to persons which congregation they must fellowship with? Our Heavenly Father has never dictated to us. He gives us a free choice. You need to stop this. The Church of Jesus Christ is spread around the world and God brings them together in different ways. The Holy Spirit is the one who leads us in truth.

      • Justice and Truth
        July 15, 2013

I am not dictating to anyone. I am speaking the truth which will be revealed to you when you die, if you do not understand it while you are alive.
I have said, Our Lord Jesus Christ gave the world one Church; not thousands, those that are formed in recent years. He came to earth, taught and established his Church. He suffered, crucified died and resurrected to Heaven. It is the same reason why he was crucified.
As the late US, holy Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen said on one of his programs which are being re-broadcasted on http://www.ewtn.com – Global TV and Radio, “Any Church which is formed after the Catholic Church was established, “No power. No strength.” I love his programs. It makes sense for God did not give a mandate to any other church but the Catholic Church. This is the reason why it is so persecuted and worse by those who once practiced the Catholic Church.and worse by those who were once practicing Catholics. They do not persecute the other thousands of churches including the ones they renounced their Catholic belief to go to but they criticize and persecute us for our Catholic faith and devotions. Why do they not persecute the other churches? Why the Catholic Church? That is the work of the influence of the devil.
Some Jews did not accept Our Lord which is why there is the Jewish religion. After the Catholic Church was established others formed their religion.
Mohammed was a Catholic who formed the Muslim religion. Down through the ages others were formed.
Do not let anyone deceive you by saying that all churches are one and the same and you can worship anywhere. They do not know better. Furthermore, the devil would like you to believe that to separate you from the one true Church and to lead you astray. He knows which Church is the one and only true Church for he has lost it forever through disobedience and rebelliousness.
Holy Scripture – St. Paul said to someone, “He will send him to the devil to teach him how not to swear.” Words to that effect. I have to look it up again. Go to the devil and ask him which Church is the one true Church. He will tell you for he knows more than you do, everything about the Catholic Church.
I will simply tell you, those other religions are not the same as the Catholic Church. Surely you should know or at least have an idea. They are not to be compared to the Catholic Church which Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself established.
If you cannot understand that, as always, I urge you to pray to God for enlightenment.

I do believe we as families , churches and the government need to take a general approach in dealing with this lawless behavior in our society typically among our youth population . I’ve grown old enough and observed that very little is being done on the parts of our families and government as when it comes to the violence among our children . Too much of these responsibilities are laid on the already burdened and low paid teachers to do . Listen folks the more laid back and complacent we become , is the more violent a Dominica we’ll have to live in tomorrow .

It seems to me that the pray-ers or prayers are faulty. The more we sit on our haunches and wallow in our thoughts of prayer, the worse the situation becomes.
We have to get out there and in there and SHOW reason to our youths.
We need to lead exemplary lives.
Parents, esspecially mothers must stop displaying their vexacious ignorance with violent words and actions.
Religious leaders – priests, pasters, sheiks, rabbis, whoever – must stop their divide-and-rule, archaic and evil examples of ‘goodness’.
Parents must band with teachers, police, religious leaders and other authority figures to provide the youth with guidance throughout their lives – not wait till after evil has set into their spirits and is beginning to affect the communities.
We ALL must cease to regard money as our master. Human beings are not born with user manuals, so we must design an acceptable way of life in order to advance civilization.

You make me laugh. :) The best route is prayers.
Our Lord said: “You ought to pray and not faint -fall asleep.” St. Paul said: “Pray without ceasing.”
St. Monica prayed for her wayward son, St. Augustine for approximately 30 years. She was a pious lady. Finally, he converted. He is now a great soul in the Catholic Church, A Doctor of the Church; not medical doctor. :) I would say as a PHd. He wrote many books and has some excellent spiritual sayings.
The problem is we must pray with a godly heart. Holy Scripture – St. Paul said, “We do not know how to pray but the Holy Spirit comes to aid us with our groans.” Read/study Holy Scripture.
When we pray we must be a truly loving person. God will hear our prayers but if we do not obey Him those prayers will not be answered. So when people say pray, how do they pray and with what type of heart that their prayers may be answered? Furthermore, God will answer those prayers in his time; not ours. We must be patient in prayers. You may not see the effect of it soon but it may come sooner, when God sees fit. Never give up hope in praying. God is working above but we do not know how and when He will answer our prayers. He wants us to persevere in worship and prayers.
A man in the ancient days said he prayed for healing but before God healed him, he healed his heart. No doubt it took years.
      You must know these matters.

Pray, for what, pray for who!

A criminal is just a darn criminal; some people are born with violence in their heart and mind. How are you going to pray in order to prevent people from committing crimes!

When they become delusional because their mind is clouded, and corrupt with drugs, how is your prayer going to prevent them from having a taste for blood!

Anybody who uses a knife, gun, cutlass, machete, or any other lethal weapon on another human, certainly is not a normal person. The only way to deal with such persons are to unleash the worst; the harshest punishment mandated by law on such people.

If you put a twenty-two year old guy away for eighteen years, as an example to other, they might decide not to get into the same predicament, however to keep on talking this crap about pray for this and that is a waste of valuable time.

The Bible which teaches us to pray without ceasing, also taught society how deal with criminals. Everything which happens in Dominica, the cry comes out for prayer, but by the time the praying cease, another person gets killed or stabbed!

So, in reality the prayers does not work, and the criminals continues to operate at leisure.

All the murderers should be executed, every other felon should be put away for near twenty years, and the crooked politicians, should suffer the same faith as the felons, since politicians in office are committing felony’s also.

      Francisco Etienne-Dods Telemaque

      • July 14, 2013

I agree with you in part. Prayer do help, but we pray for those in the moment and the others go their merry way committing their crimes until we pray for them. Take a page from George Zimmerman’s trial. Criminals do get out FREE.

Ditto! Also, parents are not investing time and care with the children anymore. Parents have a responsibility to their children, but unfortunately, that responsibility is not displayed or practiced. Therefore, discipline and respect is totally void in the home today, and some of this has do with children having children and grandparents are not actively involved in their grandchildren lives. There is no discipline in the home these days. Lawless homes, lawless children, lawless country.

Statement should read: should suffer the same fate not the same faith.

Is this kind of crimes isolated to our island only? Why dont we pray for everyone and not just the young?
