Thank You! With Deepest Gratitude – A New Book by Michael Floissac

Michael Floissac

According to the Oxford Languages Dictionary, gratitude is defined as the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. To create a cycle of gratitude in order to reap the benefits of its positive impact, we as humanity must be willing to put in the work to open the door to the universe. They must be willing to step through that door and experience all that is life. In his newly released book, Thank You! With Deepest Gratitude, Michael Floissac explores the extent to which we may find gratitude in various aspects of life and challenges the reader on the path to gratitude.

Floissac promises an awakening of gratitude. His book, born out of a practice of gratitude, self-discovery, and reading self-help books, guides readers through universal themes in life and challenges them to explore the necessary foundation for a life of gratitude. The universal aim of Floissac’s book is that it may serve as a drop of water on the quest to make the world a better place than how we found it. The book’s primary source of inspiration came from reading a gifted copy of The Profit by Kahlil Gibran. Floissac spent the next 20 years fascinated by universal topics.

In the preface, Floissac writes “This book could be seen as my reflections on similar themes… I was motivated to write this book in the hope that if someone reads it, they may obtain a new frame of reference and see all things in life from a place of gratitude.”

The book is divided into three parts: Universe, Community and Individual, with standalone chapters addressing a universal topic under each segment. The reader is encouraged to browse the table-of-content and pick a topic for the day based on their interest. Topics are introduced with a short devotion of gratitude and then offers some suggestions on how the reader may choose to interact with the topic. In each chapter, Floissac shares his personal experience with the topic, invites us to reflect on what was read, and encourages sharing those reflections with the loved ones in your life.

Floissac hopes readers will find enjoyment in his book and hopes the theme of gratitude will continue to flow. To learn more and to purchase a copy of this book, visit www.MichaelFloissac.com.

I remember Michael and his family back in the days when they resided in Morne Bruce, and later Trafalgar. We were children then and our families were close. Since they left Dominica, we’ve not been in touch. I am happy to know that Michael has done, and is doing positive things with his life.

Well done, Michael! Keep the smile; I see that it hasn’t changed at all. All the best on the rest of life’s journey.

    A long time childhood friend

So, people write books, practice law and serve in America military; Army, Navy and Marine every day.
What does his accomplishments have to with Dominica.
What is his primary connection to Dominica.
Unless I missed a Dominica connection I didn’t see one.

Why are you being silly, did you read the opening of the commentary, do you want me to remind you what was said, “According to the Oxford Languages Dictionary, gratitude is defined as the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.” wow, isn’t that a universal truth. What is there to look for a connection to Dominica, lol. I may also add gratitude is one of the highest graces. You must spend more time trying to understand what is being said and less looking for your so-called connection to Dominica. Why did you focus on the Author Bio and not the message, it’s all goes back to what I told you be watchful of that ego, the false self. If you want to understand the finer things of life, discard that ego of yours.
