The tale of a mobile phone

(Left – right) Screw, Cecil “Paulfrex” Daisy and Haynes Stedman
Cecil Daisy aka Paulfrex Originally from Newtown arrived in Dominica during a 11 night Caribbean cruise 4 weeks ago. After visiting various beauty sites on the island with 3 friends from Barbados, they decided to visit Screw’s for a dip in the wonderful warm sulphur springs. Paulfrex placed his phone on a rock while changing into dry clothes, when he noticed his mobile phone was not present. The assumption was that it was knocked into the warm pool by a passerby. Paulfrex and Screw proceeded to search the bottom of the murky pool with their feet in an attempt to find the phone with little success.
Paufrex left Dominica that evening on the cruise ship to the next destination of St. Lucia with a very heavy heart after losing his record of the previous islands visited. Screw promised he would keep looking for the phone and Paulfrex should contact him just in case it was found.
Paulfrex who’s currently residing in Barbados, returned to Dominica last week on a 10 day trip to visit various family members. On a visit to Trafalgar, his uncle Haynes Stedman (pictured above) suggested that they stop at Screw’s just in case the mobile phone was found. On arrival Paulfrex approached Screw with great trepidation. Screw produced the lost mobile phone and informed Paulfrex that it had been submerged in the hot pool for over 24 hours before its retrieval.
Later that day Paulfrex extracted both SIMs and one data card from the phone and inserted them into a replacement phone. The SIMs were fine and data on the storage card was also intact. He also decided to charge the lost mobile phone just to see if it was still functioning.
The lost phone is charged and currently in use by Paulfrex.
That lost phone was a SAMSUNG mobile phone.

Something to think about for cell phone owners . Never place your phone on solid surface. when it rings it vibrate. And that will cause it to move. always place it on a towel or something soft that will absorb the vibrations..

I haven’t seen Paulfrex in years, since we were children playing on the Newtown Savannah. I wished I was in Dominica at the time

Is that the best you can report on, DNO. You are on a steep downhill curve.

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 6 Thumb down 7
