Trump’s tax records show loss of over 1 billion US dollars

US president Donald Trump  “I have made the tough decisions, always with an eye toward the bottom line. Perhaps it’s time America was run like a business.” Interview with the Advocate in the year 2000

US President Trump’s tax records made public by the New York times has shown that from the period 1985 to 1994 his businesses lost over 1 billion US dollars.

Trump has been notoriously elusive on his tax returns breaking with convention refusing to publish them as part of his successful presidential campaign when virtually every other candidate for the presidency has made their tax returns public in the past.

The reality painted by the tax records contradicts Trump’s self-spun tale about financial triumph – perhaps the single largest self-proclaimed reason given for Trump’s qualification for president.

Hello and good evening my people. Well what you all expect from a stable genius. He’s such a genius that his casino in Atlantic City lost millions of dollars and he had to closed it. I hope when the Democrats win the Senate and the presidency they will indict, try, convict and imprison him. The only recourse Trump have is for him to defect to Russia.

The YorkTimes, the Washington Post,CNN,ABC,CBS,NBC,MSNBC.These so-called news media are like a man drowning in the ocean and laying hold of a passing straw hoping for survival.
There is nothing wrong in you supporting a party of your choice, but if you call yourself a journalist.Your duty is to give your audience the truth, not your opinion and don’t make the news, report it,and let us decide. For the past 2yrs we have been told by these people, how Trump is an agent of Russia. The only person Trump respects is Putin and they went on for 2yrs.And what is sad. They knew that they were lying to you.Now after spending 35 million dollars, Trump was innocent, and he was all the time.If they had a Conscience, the right thing to do was apologize, but no.They jump on an old story Trump had a loss of over a billion $ 35yrs ago.
Last night I was watching my TV and there was Trump during his TV show “The Apprentice”on NBC which was shown Jan.2004 how he had a big loss over 1 billion dollars13yrs ago…

Hello and good evening my people. Mr Charles did you read the redacted Muller report and can’t you see that Attorney General Barr miss represent what’s in the report. Donald Trump father ,Fred Trump left a real estate portfolio for his family which included his mother, two brothers and one sister. Based on Forbes list Fred Trump was worth three billion dollars so how can Donald Trump worth ten billion dollars when his father portfolio have to be disburse between four individuals. No bank in America would approve any loan for Donald so he had to turn to the Russians and that’s the reason he don’t want to release his taxes.

Trumps casino went bankrupt, how does one bankrupt a casino. That is almost impossible, Trump is not a great businessman or a billionaire as he often boasts. That’s why he does not want his taxes made public they will show him to be a fraud a phony and a con man as Republican Mitt Romney said in 2016. No American banks will loan Trump anymore money because they were conned by Trump, he does not pay he debts and files bankruptcy and sues to avoid paying his debts a tactic of a classic con man. He is going to wind up like AL Capone who they ultimately got on Tax evasion.

Say what you may , Trump’ Flamboyancy will not be diminished any time soon . The Land of Milk and Honey is really an Illusional Reality Show , and the Donald is the star as usual , while his policies are totally different from the main talking points . Trump is the present face of Capitalism , Imperialism and regime change , the ones before him were somewhat the same .

Very old news DNO. Not because it was repeated by CNN after more than 30 years does not make it relevant. Trump himself spoke about it publicly in 2004.

ADMIN: What does CNN have to do with this? This article was first published by the New York Times. The link in the article is to the New York Times…

ADMIN, i think he was speaking about mainstream news in general, since cnn, msnbc, the New York Times, Washington Post etc. all usually follow the same line of reporting, many times even using the exact same words or phrases.

I find it humorous that you guys will simply follow the mainstream narrative rather than researching for yourself to determine the truth. Well it should be expected nowadays i guess, most people don’t care for the truth they will happily join the band-wagon train simply to fit in with the rest of the sheeple.

      ADMIN: Indeed.

There is a sickness affecting Democrats named, “Trump derangement syndrome.”and it appears there’s no cure for this one.Democrats are still trying to win the 2016 presidential election. We were sold the fairy tale of Russia made Trump president. Now after all was said and done, the report by Mueller. No collusion, and no obstruction of justice. The AG asked Mueller twice,is it because you can’t indict a seating president.? Mueller said “No,it’s because there is not sufficient evidence.”Yet democrats still fighting to win the 2016 election. Now they resurrected the tax return of the president’s father. The man died 2000 years ago.
It’s a big shame an uneducated man like me have to let you know. The constitution does not require any one to make puplic his tax documents as a candidate for president…Get over it ,stop crying. Trump is the president, and by the grace of God come 2020 4 more years

Now that Russia story failed, they going after his taxes. These people really desperate.

Well the name Trump go run dem mad because they have another 6 years of President Donald Trump to deal with followed by what may very well be 8 years of President Ivanka Trump.

@J.john-Charles, in light of your crystal ball like prediction, I must remind you that every regime, empire, administration and government has a shelf life and expiration date.

The continued presidency of the Trumps may indeed run some of them or Dems mad; however, I declare that no matter one’s country of residency, it behooves us all to guard our hearts, sanity and peace of mind at all times while giving on to Caesar what is Caesar’s.

If you use other peoples money you cannot lose your own money. In the capitalist free enterprise system those who are the most financially successful have fine tuned the use of others money to an art. Its like credit cards. If you have money but no credit your application may not be approved. But if you are in debt with credit cards some companies will send you pre-approve credit cards. So Trump did not lose any money, he just manipulated the system to avoid paying tax and to improve his worth.

You of course would know all about that, because the only money you have is that courtesy of your master Skerrit. As I said to you before, you and your likes are very sad individuals. Disgusting!!!

Ok Trump is US president and that’s good the US has a system in place where they could search people’s tax records and see if they making money or losing money. I know we do not have an organized tax system in Dominica where we could track people, especially our leaders. In fact the closest to that we once had was the IPO but Roosevelt Skerrit has destroyed it and replaced it with a system that he manipulates at will, just to ensure we don’t know what he doing. So DNO, can someone please tell the Dominican people what is the financial worth of Roosevelt Skerrit, who I know as a fact that when we recruted him as our DLP candidate in 1999, he did not even have a bicycle and hardly a bank account. I know because I was part of the group that recruited him and I know what we had to do to give him some financial worth so he could run. Is this same man 20 years later a millionaire, multi millionaire or a BILLIONAIRE?

This is my take on things: There will always be a critic, especially in political, economic and social issues. There will always be these people who will critic your style and what you do, no matter how well you do it and believe they can do way better than you. It’s all fair. Then there are those that when it is time to prove that they are better and can do better they all but disappear or aren’t able to perform. That is Trump for you. “Make America great again”, he said. Now he can’t even make his businesses great again. Obama wasn’t the best, America had its social issues some rooted and some stemming decades before Obama’s time. But he tried.
