The United Workers Party (UWP) will be reporting back on its “Team Dominica” six-city North American tour this evening, Friday, at the Trade Union Hall Lagoon at 7.00pm before embarking next week on trips to Guadeloupe, France and the UK, according to Roseau Central MP Norris Prevost. “Team Dominica” returned to Dominica yesterday.

The meeting will be addressed by UWP leader Lennox Linton, opposition leader Hector John, Joshua Francis and Ronald Green.  Linton said on Q95FM radio this morning that it will be “about reporting to the people of Dominica on the significant outcomes of the engagement with our brothers and sisters in North America.”

Prevost said that the DLP had over the years been on “countless trips” but that they had never reported  “one word to the Dominican public about where they are going, where they went, what business were they involved in or what did they achieve.”

“Team Dominica” visited Washington, New Jersey, New York, Atlanta, Miami and Houston on its US tour to meet Dominicans and US government officials.

Prevost said that the party had been “very clear” about the issue surrounding the rights of returning Dominicans to vote. “If you’ve been overseas you should register every five years or visit the island to register.” He said that if their registration is not valid Dominicans should respond to their conscience.

Following their meeting in Lagoon, Team Dominica will be attending the Showdown Mas Camp.

My 2 cents…..Politics or no politics. I cannot vote but I enjoyed what Team Dominica had to say. I am in the USA-a real Dominican. I listened to them at every stop. I felt proud. Thanks guys. You represented the country well. I know that you want to be in power, but I felt the love you have for your Lovely Dominica. True patriots. Great job. Very eloquent and informative.

Democracy in Dominica is an illusion. Skerrit will win because the Chinese have him in their pocket nice and tight. They will not allow their puppet to lose the election. They will do whatever they have to do to skew the results.

  7. January 25, 2014

The uwp member’s came to the US saying that they were promoting Dominica, but that was a lie, they were just enjoying themselves and criticizing and how they are going to block the airports and bad talking the PM, what they don’t know is that those of us who live in the US don’t fall for their dishonesty. The PM was in NY and the vibes we got was positive and no criticism, and trying to let us understand how DA is progressing. The uwp should learn a thing or two from how a politician should behave. They sound so uneducated, those are not people we would want to lead and to represent us.

careforall, Team Dominica had an audience with movers and shakers at Capitol Hill, in Washington,DC and they handled themselves superbly!!! Ask thePM to agree to debate Linton on ANY TOPIC. See who will come out the winner. LENNOX LINTON, OF COURSE.

I heard you Lennox about changing the law so that oversees Dominicans can vote… It will be an expensive exercise in order to make sure that there is no fraud… the problem of a people who do not live with the Government that is elected being the deciding factor in who is elected still remains and lastly in the USA where if you are oversees you can vote requires you also to pay taxes.

I believe the set of statutes that make up the constitution of the land were very very very well considered and therefore… yes they may not have have been able to reflect the digital age we live in now but that alone does not make the case for changing them. One should be very very careful about changing them in any regard.

Stupesss,Team Dominica knows how to deliver. Besides, they’re innovative.THEY WILL FIND/CREATE LEGAL JOBS for ALL DOMINICANS. Remember, also, that they’re transparent, so they won’t take money under the chair. They’ve got qualities that will enable them to ensure that everybody drinks good cow’s milk, they will not water down the cow’s milk as we seew happening these days. Look at the plywood houses WITHOUT flushing toilets and bathroom (in 2012)that have been given to some vs. the mansions that are being built by the Skerritites. Then compare those to the comfortable block houses with flushing toilets and bathrooms built by the UWP in the 1990’s.
Consider this. Jobs will be created by team Dominica, because they know that Dominicans are a proud, independent and hard-woking people who prefer to work by the sweat of their brow.

I wish you all understood politics , Skerrit isn’t the issue . Linton should win so that he can have you all crying things really really rough. We do not need a change of governance all we need is growth. So stop complaining !!! You have things sweet in Dominica and Skerrit is the best thing that has happened to Dominica . UWP promising 5000 or 7000 jobs lol jokes . This is impossible !!!! They will spend the first 4 yrs or all 5yrs complaining about what DLP didn’t do , what should have been done and what Skerrit did . You all will be broke and hungry !!!! So continue begging for change !!!

IT’S TIME FOR SKWERRIT TO GO!

        January 27, 2014

I am employed , I eat well, I do not struggle . Now get this is your head the government does not owe you anything !!! ask yourself what can I do for my country, not what skerro has done or can do… e.g. the government owes you the right to an education but they do not have to pay your way or hand it to you. Fortunately most are given that opportunity. Vote for Linton and you won’t have a job . I know for a fact that I not struggling under DLP!!!

Don’t worry. They will make a special tour of Canada after Europe. Special attention for Toronto and Montreal.

    • Francisco Telemaque
      January 25, 2014

I think if you have a valid visa to visit the United States, as long as one does not allow it to expire, I believe they can travel to Canada, as long as they are visiting the United States.

that’s how is was a long time I have no idea if they change the law. It could be that no one was prepared to organize their trip to Canada. With good organization they could have spent one day in Canada, and return to New York even if they drove.

I usually leave Ferris Road in Toronto at 5:00 A. M. and by 9:00 A. M. I am already in Up State New York. I also wonder why they did not come to California, Los Angeles, as a matter of fact where there are lots of Dominicans residing also in Pomona, and the Long Beach area.

If they were in Texas, I imagine Houston, Bay Town Fresno, and surroundings, where a majority of Dominicans resides, if they wanted to visit California which is only which is only two States away, New Mexico, and Arizona they could have traveled that in a day and half, if they drove even on a Greyhound Buss.

The thing is even when the Prime Minister is in Texas, he never consider his people in Los Angeles, I’ve know the man to be in Las Vegas, wether on private business, or official, he never come to visit with his people in LA. Los Angeles, State Line between Las Vegas, and Los Angeles is less than three hundred miles, approximately 285 miles.

From here to Houston, I have driven it in a day and half the night, perhaps just over a thousand miles, I am sure from my house to Albuquerque New Mexico is a little over seven hundred miles, which I have driven nonstop in less than eighteen hours.

We are forgotten, we are nonexistent to our politicians here in Los Angeles. Anyway they did not have enough money to take them to Canada and La, so too they did not visit our people in Missouri

Probably the weather also kept them out. They may have been afraid of the inevitable.
I found it strange that the Ontario Dominican Association did not issue any sort of information for their proposed visit in January. I will hear more.
Someone should ask the three why did they not visit Canada – Toronto and what was their reason for not visiting there since it was on their itinerary.

According to me, education is necessary in politics because politicians are our country leaders & if they have not got even a secondary level education they will represent our country as an illiterate country. It is a shame to be known by this title.

Politicians need to know the constitution and this is also a part of education. Education means not to study to become a doctor or engineer. It is a system which teaches us how to tackle with different situations of our life & this is more needed for a politician

Taxpayers money being used how the government want, to travel, buy vehicles etc, and Dominicans are getting poorer and poorer. NO Work, people cannot afford to send their children to school, college students and other youth can’t get jobs. These people are paying their own way and collecting donations from supporters. What they are doing is transparent, broadcasted in the open, the exact opposite of the DLP activities.

Did I read somewhere on DNO where a couple want to promote Dominica in the best possible way by representing Dominica at the Winter Olympics?

Why? Because they see all what is good in Dominica!! By contrast we have Team UWP going around letting the world think there is nothing good in Dominica, our government or our people.

And they want to be the Government? How daft do they think we are.

The Olympians would be better as Diplomats than the new Team UWP. Whether they win a medal or not or even qualify to represent Dominica at the Olympics – they have already won in my opinion.

Now they can be true representatives of Dominica in my books. Isn’t it amazing when you really think about it?

So its ok for people to get our citizenship even if they know nothing about their new country as long as they pay big bucks? Only to put money into the pockets of a few privileged lawyers? Is that ok to you but not if you contribute and do charitable voluntary work for Dominica? You are only confirming the bad news that the sale of citizenship is only money business to make a few people rich. Shame!

What it means to have an uneducated leader!

In the debate a few years ago over whether Sonia Gandhi should have become prime minister, one element was not commented on: her lack of qualification. Not qualification in the political or constitutional sense. She had that despite the embarrassing hysteria of Sushma Swaraj who threatened to tonsure her chubby head—a most unpleasant thought—if the Congress president became prime minister.

No, what I mean is Sonia’s lack of education. She has never studied beyond high school and her knowledge of the world is entirely from experience, and not even partially from academic application.

As prime minister she would have been reliant on advice to the point of dependency on such things as foreign affairs, finance, strategic affairs and the economy. Had she plowed on regardless of the assumption that she knew what was best, we would have come to grief.

Usually, a lack of education produces two qualities.

The first is the instinct to simplify. The other, a product of the first and more dangerous, is certitude. Dangerous, particularly when one is convinced that one is “decisive”—a word that really means that someone who is quick in making decisions. Sanjay Gandhi, who was barely literate (he failed in, and then dropped out of, high school), had just such a dangerous certitude.

Doubt is usually the sign of an enlightened mind. In our parts, however, it is seen as indecision when we are assessing leadership and therefore something not heroic.

Certitude is seen by Indians as a virtue in making leaders strong and decisive. But it is equally an indicator that its possessor suffers from a lack of awareness of opposing arguments, of lack of data and information. This is a universal problem, of course. In the West, it is the conservative who yearns for decisive leadership and a stamping of authority. Later, when the decisive leader produces a war that is pure stupidity, the conservative is baffled and chastised.

Extreme certitude, of the sort we observe in Gujarat’s chief minister Narendra Modi, is actually a negative quality when coupled with a lack of proper education. Modi has never been to college and his degree is from a correspondence course.

His writing, which is all in Gujarati, is mainly hagiography. It is mediocre (perhaps it will come to wider attention now that he is where he is) and shows little awareness of the world. He has not travelled much outside India. Unfortunately, his English is also poor, which, in my opinion, has contributed to leaving his mind unopened because there is little access to the world for the Gujarati-only individual.

Modi would not have reached the position he is in today, within striking distance of becoming the prime minister, in a civilized nation because he isn’t qualified.

The rest of the world accepts this and it isn’t something that is particularly debated. It can, in fact, be easily demonstrated.

In the UK, the probable future leader Boris Johnson is from Oxford University. His degree is in Literae Humaniores, meaning the Classics of ancient Greece and Rome. Prime minister David Cameron is also from Oxford as is former prime minister Tony Blair. Former prime minister Gordon Brown has a PhD and so has Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel. Chinese president Xi Jinping also holds a doctorate and Japan’s prime minister Shinzo Abe has a master’s degree from the University of Southern California. France’s François Hollande has a postgraduate degree from the elite ENA (Ecole Nationale d’Administration). Australia’s prime minister Tony Abbott is a Rhodes scholar from Oxford. Canada’s prime minister Stephen Harper has a master’s degree in economics.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin, this will come as a surprise, also has a PhD. Foreign Affairs magazine reported last year that in 1989, “a 45-year-old Putin was busy defending his PhD thesis, The Strategic Planning of Regional Resources Under the Formation of Market Relations, at the St Petersburg Mining Institute. In it, he argued that Russian economic success would depend on creating national energy champions.”

Whatever else one may have thought of former US president George W. Bush, he was no yokel. He studied at Yale and then at Harvard. Bill Clinton before him was a Rhodes scholar to Oxford and Barack Obama was at Harvard.

This insistence on academic qualifications from top universities is not some form of vanity. It is an indicator, the strongest one and perhaps the only one, that the candidate has a fine and balanced mind. Manmohan Singh, our vacillating, indecisive prime minister, is more qualified than any of those above, as Obama himself acknowledges.

When You Think Changes is Best it Just Feel Worse Than Ever.

One of our bedrock assertions at NLP Marin is that all human beings will be and do anything to make sure that their beliefs are true. Anything! We are meaning making beings. This is one of our specialties. Whatever we believe is true will be true, and whatever we believe things mean is what they will mean. Even better, to make sure that we are not wrong or crazy about this, we will have “good evidence” for everything, for every part of it. What we believe is so. No exceptions-except sometimes. I would like to explore one of those exceptional times in this and the next article or so.

We accomplish the amazing, perfect alignment of belief and “reality” through the local meaning-making magic of deletion, distortion, and generalization, and through the more non-local magic of using awareness to summon forth a whole world and, ultimately, a whole universe in all its parts. Put simply, we can make sure that things mean what they are supposed to mean precisely because we are just checking with ourselves-however other-than-consciously we might be doing that. We certainly get a lot of help from our families and the larger culture(s) in which we live, but we are basically just checking with ourselves, nevertheless. For example, if we “know” (believe) that an object is green, we will perceive a green object, which will then let us know that the object is green, around and around again in merry infinity of reality perception and perceived reality perfection. The famous 1948 illustration by M. C. Escher, below, says just about everything about this process.

        “Drawing Hands”

It illustrates something called autopoesis, or self-creation. One hand is what we believe, and the other is the reality upon which those beliefs are based. Or, one hand is now, and the other is our future. I wonder if one hand knows what the other is doing? (I have to say, “The Secret” is a much better book title than “Autopoesis for Dummies,” but I am fond of the word nevertheless.)

It is usually a good and pleasant thing when our autopoetic processes work magic that generates positive experience. “I have done some nice work on myself. Things are better, and I feel better!” is a pretty wonderful and sensible statement. However, “Things are better, but I feel way worse,” is not pleasant at all. To generate strong negative feelings about having really positive results is a deeply confusing experience. But drive to not feel wrong or crazy means that we will endure any amount of perceived pain rather than-actually, instead of-experiencing that our bad feelings are not accurate reports about the reality of our world. As we grow and learn, as we come to trust and respect ourselves more and more, we may know full well that our negative, painful experience is completely wacky, shot through with contradiction and inconsistencies, but we will still make sure that it is “real and true.” This seems to make things even worse-sometimes a lot worse.

Not only are humans meaning-making specialists, we are stubborn about it! Our wonderfully automatic, unremitting meaning-making stubbornness allows us to both create and stabilize our worlds. This is an incredibly important function. It lets us be human. It lets us rely on having a stable self across time and within that wider world we’re pretty sure we’re supposed to be involved with. There’s a lot to be said for the stability afforded by all this stubborn certainty. (Marin-style NLP change-work is actually based on using our predictable patterning to make changes in our predictable patterning, but that is another article.)

But what happens when we just cannot get good changes to make good sense, when the good things that we know to be so are just too far from the bad experience we are feeling about them? What happens when the reality is so much better than the feelings that seem to be reporting on that reality-when our life experience is actually more positive than our belief systems can account for? This is very difficult territory. It is usually quite scary to be us when this happens.

I have worked with many clients who are caught in “the dilemma”-”My life is really great (or so I am told by people I trust), but my feelings about my life are still really, really, really bad – and this is sort of ruining my whole life, so it’s not so great anymore, only I know it is, except that, based on how it feels to be me, my life is still totally awful, which must mean that there is still something really wrong with me, which is making me feel worse, and about which I am sort of starting to freak out, except that everything is pretty much better, only I can’t feel it.”

        Yipes!

Some examples: a client with millions of dollars (much of it in gold!) and several very different businesses, but with the experience that it could (would!) all disappear instantly, including the gold-not in an economic downturn, but literally instantly. The more success this person created, which was a lot, the more terror they developed. I worked with someone whose relationship (primary, significant other relationship) developed into everything they wanted, yet they were certain that somehow, some way, something could instantly (again, that word) undo all of their remarkable accomplishments, in terms of being able to give and receive love. Another client developed superb success in the context of their job, along with all the acknowledgement and corporate trappings that mark this kind of success, but this person’s feelings were those of someone constantly at the very edge of being humiliated and fired. (Again, the experience was that this could happen at any instant.) One more example: a client who worked creatively to revise a serious writer’s block, who then had several published books to their credit, and whose feelings were, nevertheless, those of someone who would never be able to write or express themselves in any way. Also, again, there was a certainty that all of their books could simply be “taken away, instantly.”

There is an excruciating good news/bad news dilemma (a situation in which someone must choose one of two or more unsatisfactory alternatives) in the experience of these people. One of two things just has to be hugely in error: either they are really wrong about the observable realities of their lives, or they are hugely wrong about themselves-about the reliability of their mean-making about self at the deepest levels. Those of us still struggling for the success these people had created might think, “What a great problem to have,” but which would you choose to be “wrong” about-your ability to accurately know yourself, or your ability to accurately know your world?

This crazy-making dilemma presents a serious ecology problem-an unwanted consequence of otherwise wonderful growth and change-that is a challenge for the practitioner and the client both. The problem is, “How do we work with ourselves and others so that lives don’t improve faster or farther than identity can explain, or so that our identity updates keep adequate pace with our life improvements?” My experience is that, using our Marin-style NLP, we can do marvelous change work that actually works, but that if we don’t sufficiently and properly revise a certain belief, then there is nothing but trouble.

This really problematic belief is as simple as it is devastating:

“The most dangerous thing I can do is assume that I am safe.”

Good point, however most. Contribute in one way or another and remember there is wa big difference between someone who recently migrated and still trying to find their feet and someone who hS been overs for many years and can afford to invest. Also isnt it the responsibilify of those in power to make it attractive for those in the diaspora to invest? Why is it that the pm only interaction with the diaspora seem to be when he is interested in their uninformed vote? What about policy positions like lower tax rates for returning visitors or maybe pubic& private joint business collaborations in targetted sectors i.e agroprocessing? Or simple ideas of rebated airline tickets for any visitor who opts to use a village gusthouse, thus spreading the bread and building a specific client base and tourism approach? My point is , just saying invest is not enough, strategize and actively engagewith the diaspora not just seek their vote, that is why the blue team’s approach is so refreshing to so many and shows logical thought…..

@>>>>>>> – From the way I see it, Roosevelt is losing control of his own party. See how he has been forced to take back or shelve or suspend his plans to replace some of the current ministers he does not want running on a Labour party ticket.

Wasn’t it rumored that he wanted to replace the one from Cottage, Portsmouth and Laplaine for example but dem fellas tell mister straight up no way you going to replace us OR ELSE………

Slowly but surely, Roosevelt is losing control of the Labour party.

DNO: “Prevost said that the DLP had over the years been on ‘countless trips’ but that they had never reported ‘one word to the Dominican public about where they are going, where they went, what business were they involved in or what did they achieve.’”

Lol! Hon. Prevost may be correct on his assertion about the DLP. However, he should be ashamed of seeking political mileage from tonight’s meeting. The UWP only informs Dominicans when the UWP feels it is politically expedient for it to do so, not because it genuinely loves the people or it genuinely wants to appear transparent blah, blah, blah.

    Hon Prevost,
    1. Did the UWP inform us of its trips to meet the Taiwanese reps who are based elsewhere in the Caribbean?
    2. Did the UWP inform us that it was heading to Cuba to meet the Polisario Front (the nationalist group with ties to Osama’s Al Qaeda) to canvass for funds?
    3. Did the UWP inform us that it was heading to meet certain rich European businessmen to discuss campaign financing?
    4. Did the UWP inform us that its current tour is above all a fundraising venture?

Stop the hypocrisy and futile self-righteous nonsense, Prevost.

It is a system which teaches us how to tackle with different situations of our life & this is more needed for a politician.

I like what they are doing. I respect them and I salute them. When Skerrit goes on his mission the nation never knows his where about. When he returns he doen not report to the nation. 55. careforall
    January 24, 2014

The demand for great leadership is at an all-time high. All across the world, in business, academics and government, people want leaders that can be trusted, relied upon and that have a genuine commitment to help solve the pressing problems that are holding back the advancement of community, commerce and humanity. Many leaders get caught up in managing their image, legacy, power and influence rather than finding ways to become better leaders. Leadership is not a one-size fits all formula, yet too many leaders get complacent about how to more effectively lead – rather than embracing the journey and taking responsibility to motivate and inspire people and bring out their best. Leadership is about creating opportunities, managing them and sustaining positive outcomes for the betterment of a healthier whole. This is almost impossible for a leader to successfully achieve if they don’t take the time to self-examine and find ways to better understand themselves in order to be more effective at serving others.

Leaders need to be willing to break themselves apart – their natural tendencies, behaviors and how they approach people – that over time may lose their impact. Leaders must objectively assess and reexamine how to better commit themselves to their role and responsibilities – that everyone is paying attention to – more often than they are themselves. Leaders must continuously embrace feedback and critical input from others in order to keep rebuilding themselves to become more effective, stronger, smarter and compassionate. Great leaders know how to adjust and course correct because they have made it a point to continuously self-evaluate and stay on their toes. They are open-minded to fresh perspectives and are eager to learn how to apply their knowledge, ideas and ideals to different types of audiences and circumstances.

Leadership is about being proactive and responsibly experimental – not only in how you lead your organization and team, but also in how you build your own personal brand. In other words, leadership is about testing new ways of being more impactful with your own people (internally) in order to generate positive results (externally) – without being overly disruptive.

This past week, the world witnessed the fall of Paula Deen, the famous chef who lost her sponsors, branded product distribution and trust of the Food Network. Paula Deen was not only a brand, but a leader in the eyes of many – but yet failed miserably in her attempts to be experimental in how she would deliver an apology for her racial insensitivities.

Instead of being irresponsibly experimental, Paula Deen would have been more effective at telling the truth, being accountable and moving on with a lot less damage. Didn’t Lance Armstrong teach us all a thing or two about the importance of being accountable? People forgive honesty; yet they find it more difficult to forgive inanity. Unfortunately, too many leaders don’t accept responsibility for wrong doing, and thus miss the opportunity to earn respect. This is an example of when leaders become followers.

These lessons show us all that it’s important to stop at times – in order to know where you are going. So often leaders get caught-up in “their own world” – they forget about the best interests of those outside of it. Throughout the course of my own career, I’ve learned the benefits of stopping, reflecting and assessing. I learned that when you take the time to step back and look at the bigger picture of your leadership – you would have done many things differently along the way. Yet, because you are in a role of authority – many times you are not told the truth by your peers and colleagues about how to do things more effectively and purposefully. This is especially true of bosses who have not earned respect and are not viewed as trustworthy and transparent.

Because leaders deal with so much input each day, it’s almost impossible to keep up with it all. However, when you make it a point to stop, reflect and assess your actions, tendencies and behaviors – you will begin to see certain patterns that you can improve upon and/or eliminate all together. The key is to commit to self-examination before your leadership effectiveness and likeability begin to fade.

To help you get started on your self-examination commitment, here are three questions you must answer and hold yourself accountable to act upon – at least once every three months be a more effective, complete and relevant leader:

    1. What Must I Keep Doing?
If you have a strong sense of self, than you know what works well and what doesn’t when leading others. However, can you still improve upon those things that work well? Yes, but be most critical of what doesn’t work well for you when dealing with people, as this is what you will need to focus your refinement efforts on first. For example, how is your attitude perceived? Do you engage and ask your employees and colleagues meaningful questions – or are you a bit standoffish? Do you set high levels of expectation and performance standards for your team? Or do you have a more relaxed approach that is not always taken seriously?

What are those things that work best for you? Make a more mindful commitment to keep doing them, but be aware that things could change by your next self-examination when it may be time to stop or start something new.

Unlike the current leader who often departs the country with no accountability, no reports, no press conferences, and believes that he’s above the law, we finally have responsible leaders who understand that if they are elected, they’ll be our servants and not masters. How many scholarships they get for the Youths?

How many homes they will build.

How many of the poor they will help?

How many jobs did they get for the jobless?

They need not be in government to do any of these.

@Anonymous Skerrit would answer to your statement in his typical arrogant and insultive fashion.
“It’s Not None Of Your Dam Business If Team Dominica has Heavy Backers”…..’Go to Hell” Go To Hell’ ‘Go to Hell’….And fools like you would Jump Up and Clap. But Linton and the rest of Team Dominica only have well cultured men and women. So trust me you can put the question to any member of the team, and it will be answered.
      GOOD NEWS INDEED!

      Educational qualification for Politicians

To become a politician one should have a minimum qualification because as in India even for a D class post there is some eligibility.

And since there is a vast view for the politician so he should have a optimistic approach so for that also person should have basic knowledge so that it understand the people opinion. EDUCATION is a must needed quality which is required in any of the leaders. Politicians are the very important assets of our society. They are the who running the nation. Do you want your nation to be led by uneducated peoples. NO ! We want our leaders to be well-educated, one who makes unbiased, intelligent & quality decisions. In my point of view education is necessary for politician. Not only education, they need to know about moral values and also how to manage people. Some of the qualifications that the politician should maintain are Good communication skills, Positive thinking, Honesty etc. The point that you raised was correct.

Because now a days none of the politician does not have any qualification. It should contain some entrance test which are based on ethics and awareness about society. The people who have family background are easily entering into the politics without having lack of knowledge and also not suited for that post. Due to this the country is being corrupted. I would like to ensure that the politician should consist of basic education to lead the country!

You have not been following the news. Mr. Linton made it clear, they paid their own travelling tickets. They rented a five seater van, they were housed by friends along the way and they picked up donations at every meeting. If you want to believe the propaganda that is being spread by Skeritt and is Ministers, go ahead, believe it, you have the right to believe whatever you want.

“Paid their own travelling tickets” my foot! If you believe this idiocy you are a bigger ninny than i ever tought. the total cost for airline tickets to N. America, Europe, and a few Caribbean islands certainly do not come cheap. Do the math. These guys are either millionaires or poor liars!

They must be extremely well-off or rich to pay their passage from Dominica to the USA and travel to those areas and then to Guadeloupe and Europe. They probably took out a loan which they will have to pay back for a few years. Insurance does not cover such traveling costs.

Millionaires or poor liars, at least they have given an explanation. Skeritt travels frequently, a supporter of Skeritt like BogoRoy knows almost five to ten times a month Skeritt is always missing in action.
