Bravo Bernard Wilsher: Dominicans owe the neg marrons a great debt of gratitude for the valiant battles they fought in the struggle for electoral reform in Dominica. Brelient history lesson.
Caricom and OECS will give them a nice surprise. I wonder if they will accept their recommendations then.
Isn’t that shameful?
CCM imported a speaker from Antigua to talk on Electoral Reform; but the very same thing the speaker spoke of, is the very same thing the BILL which the Government is going to pass in Parliament is talking about. One wonders how those bunch of radical must have felt.
Athie Martin you were part of previous governments! Why now you are fighting for election reform? It was ok back then – free and fair election! You are someone who knows better (so I think). At least educate these people so they will understand they are the ones who really are keeping back election reform. Certain things are to go before parliament & they are the same ones (those who call for reform) who stubbornly incite, walk out, etc instead of going through the motion for the way forward. Again the question – ( I heard LL say – “that this can be done before the next general election” at the Parish Hall forum – Since you claim that this can be done before the next general election, give your steps (plans/suggestions) for achieving that goal of Mr Linton’s statement as quoted above? Athie Martin and other members of this group, I appeal to you ask Mr. Linton to answer this question & not claim that it is not political parties duty. I humbly await the answer!
So Athie Martin is involved. That is sufficient to destroy my credibility in the CCM. This is not a civic group. This is a gang of agitators, of extremist trying to launch a new political party of right wing fanatics. To be called Tim Tim CCM.
