According to the 6:00 PM advisory from the Dominica Meteorological Service, a tropical wave with a medium chance of development is currently being monitored and is expected to generate an increase in shower and thunderstorm activity across portions of the island chain, including Dominica by tonight into Sunday. The activity, which could be moderate to heavy at times, is projected to linger into Tuesday of next week. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to exercise caution during the period.
Moderate to rough seas are expected during the next 24 hours with swells up to 3.0m or 10.0 feet. A high-surf advisory and a small craft warning is in effect as of 6 p.m. Saturday 21st September.
It is Sunday. It has been raining since yesterday. From the weather report it will be raining till Tuesday. We have a Prime Minister who does not know what it is like to put pots, pans, pail, basin, tensil to collect water from a leaking roof. Even with the tarpaulin, four days of rain will get in. This man so wicked, he felt it was more important for Dominicans to put on a million dollar concert last week than to assist Dominicans in repairing their roofs. We have people in Dominica who remember Maria everytime it rains, their living rooms turn into a pool of water, they have to shift the bed to one side and put everything from the floor on it. Our PM says we are resilient.
Sorry after two years you not able to help yourself, I feel your pain. But I think you should complain less and start doing something to help yourself, stop waiting on Skerrit and government to help. From your perspective you know who to blame, so you should start by helping yourself and asking for help. The leader of the opposition Lennox Linton has stated that the wicked Prime Minister (according to you) should give 2 million USD dollars to the Bahamas for hurricane relief. People like you seems to have been forgotten by the caring leader of the opposition who seems to be more concerned about the suffering people of the Bahamas than Dominicans like you.
