A new tropical storm formed over the Atlantic Ocean Tuesday morning, according to the National Hurricane Center.
The storm is named Jose and is the 10th named storm during the 2017 season.
Jose is packing winds of 40 mph and is moving west-northwest at 13 mph.
The system was located about 1,505 miles east of the Lesser Antilles.
DNO will provide further updates on this new weather system.
That is tghe one that going and rock us. Remember Erica, the one before was the one everyone was afraid of. Then we wer too relaxed at the thought of a TS doing any real damage. Then BAM! wake up call. This time we going by Joseee we going by Joseee. Jose your name ringing BELLS! in that 2017 there.
From September 4, there are 16 articles posted on DNO back, to back, back, with nothing in between. This just shows how dead the country has been and nothing to report in terms of progress. No one seems to be enjoying the hurricane coverage more than Skerrit, because all attention is on the storm instead of the inability of his government to move the country forward. He must be asking for more storms so he could hide a little more.
It’s an ill wind that blows from Africa.
