WEATHER (6:00 AM, July 6): Increased showers, possible thunderstorms next 24 hrs

A tropical wave is expected to generate increased cloudiness with showers and possible isolated thunderstorms, mainly across the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours. Dust haze will also be evident across the area during today.

Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 to 48 hours with wave heights peaking to 8.0ft along the eastern coast during today. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for above normal seas along the east coast. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers are advised to exercise caution.
