A weak tropical wave is expected to produce cloudiness with scattered showers, mainly across the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during today. Occasionally breezy conditions will be maintained across the area.
Meanwhile, a strong tropical wave located in the Central Tropical Atlantic, that is being monitored for development, is expected to begin affecting the island from Wednesday into Thursday. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should continue to monitor the progress of this wave.
Dust haze will continue to linger in varying concentrations across the area during the next few days. People with respiratory sensitivities are advised to continue taking the necessary precautions to avoid complications.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking to 7.0ft. An increase in wave heights to peak near 8.0ft is expected on Tuesday, with further deterioration to near 10.0ft expected on Wednesday.
