Synopsis: Weak unstable conditions are affecting the island.

Forecast for Today and Tonight: Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers

Wind: East north easterly to East south easterly @ 15 to 35 km/h.

Sea Conditions: Moderate in open water.

Waves: 1.5 to 2.0 meters or 5.0 to 7.0 feet.

Low Tide: 10:50 AM and 10:58 PM

High Tide: 4:29 AM and 4:58 PM

Weak instability will maintain occasional cloudiness and scattered showers across parts of the island chain during today and tonight. Thereafter, a tropical wave is expected in the area by Monday into Tuesday producing unstable conditions.

Persons in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should exercise extreme caution as grounds are already saturated.

Moderate sea conditions are expected during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 7.0 feet.

    Is the government evacuating that hotel or would you allow St Lucia helicopter to land today?
