
The Pierre Charles Secondary School attained all gold medals in drama at the National Schools’ Arts Festival 2023 on Thursday, taking home two awards for their production.
The other schools that took part were Goodwill Primary School, Wesley High School, and Dominica Community High School.
The respective productions were:
Goodwill Primary: The Effect of Child Sexual Abuse
Wesley High School: Post It
Community HS: Against All Odds
Pierre Charles SS: Your Son My Husband
The results are as follows: Goodwill Primary School – GOLD, Wesley High School – GOLD, Dominica Community High School – SILVER, and Pierre Charles Secondary School – GOLD.
Best Actor went to Antwar Hector of Pierre Charles Secondary School who played the character ‘Johnny’.
Best Director also went to Pierre Charles Secondary School–Vincia Languedoc.
Best Actress went to Veronica George of Wesley High School who played ‘Pamela’.
The last competition will be held tomorrow which will be creative dance.
