During an interview with DNO, he revealed the contestants are doing their final preparations and guest artists and judges have been confirmed.

The contestants participating are as follows;  Contestant #1 – Mia Williams of the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School sponsored by Argos Dominica Ltd., Contestant #2 – Shian Sylvester of the Dominica Grammar School sponsored by Do It Center, Contestant #3 – Jharrissia Gage of the Convent High School sponsored by Signal Band & HHV Whitchurch & Co. “The contestants have been interviewed on DBS & Kairi FM. They have been featured in the newspapers and on Facebook. Final rehearsals will take place during the course of this week,” he said

“The Miss Teen Pageant is one of the most popular shows during the Carnival. It attracts all age groups – adults, youth, and children. People like the show because it is very entertaining and exciting. It usually moves quickly and smoothly and as it starts in the afternoon the show does go on…late at night.”

Lawrence noted that there are always new contestants and new guest artists in the Miss Teen Dominica Pageant and the order of appearances remains the same but all stage performances will be new and very exciting.

Persons should expect a very enjoyable show with outstanding performances from the contestants and guest artists, with a promise that it will be a “will be a show to remember.”

The Miss Teen Dominica Pageant will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the forecourt of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium starting at 5 PM.

Tickets are currently on sale at Depex; $20 for Children Standing, $30 for Adults Standing, and $40 for Sitting.
