Prince Swanny charged with breaching court order in T&T

Prince Swanny charged

Trinidadian dancehall artiste, Prince Swanny, has been formally charged in his home country after he was not allowed to enter Dominica and was flown back to Trinidad.

He is now facing the charge of breaching an order from the High Court, according to media reports from the twin island Republic.

The artiste, whose real name is Taryll Swan, was arrested on Friday, April 7, 2023, by Western Division Gang Unit, allegedly in relation to gang inquiries and gang-related activity.

It’s also alleged that a Corporal Durity–of the T&T Police–obtained an order from the High Court, in which the artiste was to provide his passwords for his electronic device and social media apps.

However, he refused to comply, hence the charge.

He has been placed on TT$80,000 bail.

Prince Swanny created a stir on Friday, April 7, when he arrived in Dominica for a concert on Easter Sunday night at the stadium forecourt but was not allowed to disembark.

He was flown back to Trinidad where he was arrested on arrival. Organizers of the event had hoped he would instead make it for the concert on Easter Monday night, but all hopes were dashed when it was revealed that the artiste would be charged in court.

The concert, dubbed “Dream” Easter Bash, went on without him on Easter Sunday night.

I am not sure which comes first, the thuggish lifestyle or the decision to pursue a music career that aligns with that lifestyle?

These guys somehow think that thuggery and that sort of music go hand in hand to maintain their “street cred”.

To each his own, I guess!!

Meanwhile Skerrit is paying a Trinidadian attorney millions of dollars to fabricate a false guilty verdict on two of our most highly respected politicians on island in Dr Thompson Fontaine and Hon Lennox Linton. But the Ahab and his purchased wife Jezebel are allegedly deeply connected in helping bring to Dominica to perform someone that had a court order from his country’s High Court.. Those in Dominica who helped him to breach the court order should also be charged for their role in helping him flee the country just how they helped Monfared flee Iran to come hide in Dominica when they knew damn well that he was a wanted criminal just as they know a lot about the Choksi matter
