I graduated in 1992 and traveled to Canada where I lived for almost three years. I then traveled to the USA in 1996 where I began my studies in criminal justice. I obtained an associates degree in criminal justice from Roxbury Community College and then proceeded to get my bachelors in criminology and law from Suffolk University in Boston. A few years ago I decided to take a different turn with my career and began nursing school. I obtained my bachelors degree in nursing from Simmons College in Boston. I am also a real estate agent in the Boston area for the past 4 years.

I am married to a Dominican for the past 16 years from my village and we have two beautiful children 12 and 5 years old.

Future goal: My intention is to get my masters degree in midwifery and become a nurse midwife and obtain a certificate in forensic nursing. It is also my intention to come back home some time and to work as a nurse or with the Police Department.

Reading you biography was so inspirational, especially the fact that even when you realized law was not your thing you were still determined to pursue studies in nursing. Wish you all the best with your career and marriage.
