\"\"<\/a>Dear Bella: <\/strong>Your readers were quite rude in my last letter (See ‘Looking for Love in the wrong place?’ published on June 25 in Column section) where I was asking for help and advice.<\/p>\n

I am a genuine person, and all I’m looking for is a serious relationship. I understand it\u2019s a peculiar situation to be chasing after another person\u2019s, girlfriend, but I can’t escape the way I feel. Maybe I’m going about the situation wrongly, but I have always followed my heart and it has not failed me yet.<\/p>\n

But his situation is different,\u00a0and I have seen for myself the true character of this young lady. I’m not the only person pursuing her. She has other “friends,” and she is also materialistic. I feel sorry for her overseas boyfriend because he is totally in the dark about her midnight rendezvous,\u00a0early morning drops home, and\u00a0“pick-ups” from work. Why are women so devious? I think I’ll stay far from Dominican woman, too much trouble. How can I find someone real?<\/p>\n

I believe you\u2019re going to find it difficult to find any woman who you\u2019re content with if you go on believing all of them are \u201cdevious.\u201d<\/p>\n

Have an open mind because just as women can cheat, men can also. If you find so many faults in this woman, why are you still interested? It\u2019s obvious you\u2019re implying that she is not trustworthy. As for your judgment that Dominican women generally are \u201ctoo much trouble\u201d is stereotyping a bit too much.<\/p>\n

However, you should know what works for you. Finding someone will depend on what is your type and the qualities you admire in a woman, and while you have not been specific about what these are I can\u2019t give you details as to how you may go about finding your type. Bear in mind though if you\u2019re exploring going out to different activities and events is has a social advantage. If you like the party girl type you should have an idea of where to go or if you like the sophisticated, gentler woman you may also know at which places to go. Joining online social networks is a very fun and easy way to make female contacts as well. Expand your horizons, do new things- if you\u2019re not already doing so and you\u2019re sure to network with new female friends that have the potential of being your lover.<\/p>\n
