\"\"<\/a>Too many times parents give their children names they don’t know the meaning of. Sometimes they can hardly pronounce\u00a0it. Names like John, James, Mary,Peter, etc. are too common for\u00a0 them.<\/p>\n

They make up names like\u00a0Daique, Maliqac, Cirtyuca, etc. They say names like John\u00a0are the\u00a0white man’s\u00a0name. God created names, not man. God is not white for He is a spirit. None of the names they are giving to their Children are\u00a0that of famous\u00a0people if they were I would understand.<\/p>\n

In this world today where racism is still alive you can see it everywhere if you know how to look for it.<\/p>\n

In most stores in the USA the light skinned people are the ones at the front desk, whereas the dark skinned ones remain at the back. Not too long ago there was a lawsuit against\u00a0one of the\u00a0 largest stores in\u00a0the States because they were not giving the dark skinned workers a\u00a0salary raise and were keeping them to the back of the store.<\/p>\n

Take a look at\u00a0firemen, policemen, etc. in the USA; most promotions are given to the whites, so why do we still insist in\u00a0giving our children\u00a0names\u00a0like that? Anytime\u00a0 a person\u00a0 of colour\u00a0sent a job application\u00a0letter\u00a0 to most companies, and management notices\u00a0 that name all they do is shred\u00a0 the application. They don’t want people that look like us to represent\u00a0their company, so please parents\u00a0be careful of the names you give your kids. It might hinder him\/her the rest of their\u00a0lives.<\/p>\n
