Dominicans are being encouraged to take measures during this hurricane season to ensure that they have adequate drinking water.<\/p>\n

Customer Service and Human Resource Manager at the Dominica Water and Sewerage Company (DOWASCO), Gwennie Dickson says proper storage and sanitation is essential.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the hurricane season we always encourage persons to have adequate storage because there are times when the turbidity level is very high and we have to shut down the system. So we should have to ensure that they have water stored for their household use,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
