Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13828\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13828\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><em><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/TheRichardsons3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13828\" title=\"TheRichardsons\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/TheRichardsons3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/TheRichardsons3.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/TheRichardsons3-150x99.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/em><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-13828\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Richardsons<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cOnly fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.\u201d\u00a0 1 Samuel 12:24 <\/em><\/p>\n<p>No matter who you are or where you are, whether you want to admit it or not, God has been good to you.\u00a0 It is God who allowed us to wake this morning, who gave us the breath of life.\u00a0 Many did not wake this morning and the reality is that only the mercies of God will allow us to make it through this day.\u00a0 We should all show God how thankful we are for his goodness and mercies by serving Him in spirit and in truth.\u00a0 God has promised blessings on those who fear Him.\u00a0 \u201cHe will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.\u201d\u00a0 Psalm 115:13<\/p>\n<p>Some people want to be blessed but they do not want to fear God.\u00a0 They want to live their lives however they feel, doing whatever they please, even if it is evil and wicked.\u00a0 However, the devil does not play fair, so at some point he will turn on the wicked and then they wonder why God is allowing them to suffer or be overtaken with troubles.\u00a0 They forget in the midst of their pain that it is the deeds of their own hands and their words and actions that has caused their troubles.\u00a0 They do not want to fear God or serve God but they want God to bless them.\u00a0 God is merciful but we are not to trample on His mercies.\u00a0 Proverbs 3:7 states \u201cBe not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.\u201d\u00a0 It is time to fear God.<\/p>\n<p>There are many people today who in the midst of bad situations have told God that if He would get them out of it they would serve Him the rest of their lives.\u00a0 God heard their cries and delivered them out of their troubles but as soon as they were delivered they soon forget about the promise they made to God.\u00a0 Are you such a person?\u00a0 It is time to serve God, it is time to fear God.<\/p>\n<p>Do you fear man and not fear God?\u00a0 Do you compromise and please man even if it means that you sin against God and His word?\u00a0 \u201cThe fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.\u201d\u00a0 Proverbs 29:25<\/p>\n<p>Our lives are in the hands of God;
