Organizers of the 2010 Emancipation celebrations say all is set for the official opening at the Old Mill Cultural Center tonight.<\/p>\n
The event, which kicks off this evening, will run until August 8 with a number of activities forming part of the 2010 Emancipation celebration.<\/p>\n
Chief Cultural Officer Raymond Lawrence says an art exhibition and poetry reading will take place tonight following the opening ceremony from 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe expect to have an opening address from the Minister of Culture Justina Charles, performances from various drumming groups and several poetry performances.
