A helicopter dropped down a basket-rope for him. He pushed it away, trusting God to roll back the floodwaters and save him and his house in Jesus name.<\/p>\n

Well, the flood did what floods do and finally swept away all in its path. At the pearly gates, he bitterly questioned St. Peter why God had not saved him. St. Peter shrugged. \u201cWell if you refused all the rescue efforts God sent you, what do you expect?\u201d<\/p>\n

The Meat of the Matter<\/strong><\/p>\n

When my brother Gabriel and I went to South Africa, we kept hearing about was this fantastic \u2018braai\u2019 folks were inviting us to on the weekend. What on earth were they talking about? A barbeque oui! Listening to them talk, you would swear they invented it! Not only that, when we visited Israel, areas in North America and Europe, a certain gleam would light up people\u2019s eyes when talking about whatever name they have for roasting or grilling meat. And they all feel they do it better than everyone else!<\/p>\n

There is no disputing that in Dominica over the years that barbeques keep popping up exponentially Let\u2019s be honest, the delicious carnivore aroma of barbeque pulls like a magnet, but not so much when you consider this. The fact is that barbequing and grilling generate heterocyclic amines (HCA\u2019s)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0which causes cancer.<\/p>\n

So, you see, it is the cholesterol, sodium and carcinogens in red meat, processed foods and fast foods that largely contribute to the CNCD\u2019s listed above. In times past, mostly Rastas and a handful of other \u2018weirdos\u2019 espoused such kinds of things. Today, it is quite mainstream to declare a more plant-based diet as the solution. Deep down we know that the closer the food to the hand of God, the better it is for us. Still, the marketing geniuses have us believing that anything other than feeding on their \u2018good life\u2019 just isn\u2019t as sexy and exciting. The irony is that Dominica\u2019s agricultural potential makes us more blest than most in being able to take advantage of Nature\u2019s bounty.<\/p>\n

Nah! You don\u2019t need a new body. What one really needs is a new commitment to take control of this same body according to the immutable principles in CHIP. It is a Godsend.
