\"\"<\/a>An internal investigation has been launched into reports of an alleged assault on a young woman by a police officer assigned to the Grand Bay Police Station.<\/p>\n

That is according to Deputy Police Commissioner Cyril Carrette, who due to ongoing investigations could not be too detailed about the matter.<\/p>\n

He did confirm that the young woman made a report to his office.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe matter is under investigations. The woman has made a report to my office and I\u2019m conducting internal investigations,\u201d he told this online publication.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a Grand Bay resident acquainted with the alleged victim described her as a kind person.<\/p>\n

\u201cI happen to know the young lady and she’s the sweetest thing. I’ve known her since she was in diapers and she’s never one to go looking for trouble,\u201d the anonymous person uttered.<\/p>\n
