\"\"<\/a>From the womb to the tomb you are there,<\/p>\n

Ever present in every sphere,<\/p>\n

Immersed in you for nine long months,<\/p>\n

You witnessed my every move, even my sucking thumb.<\/p>\n

Your calmness and warmth caressed me for sure,<\/p>\n

And enveloped in you I felt secure,<\/p>\n

As I twisted and turned to move around,<\/p>\n

You protected me from harm and from sound.<\/p>\n

At that first phase we had to part,<\/p>\n

When to the light I was directed<\/p>\n

I longed to stay but alas it couldn\u2019t be<\/p>\n

\u2018Cause my home no longer could hold me.<\/p>\n

Having escaped this watery home,<\/p>\n

You are beside me at nightly turns.<\/p>\n

When tucked in bed the warmth I feel<\/p>\n

When mommy puts me to sleep at her will.<\/p>\n

Days go by and nights do too,<\/p>\n

As I grow up through and through.<\/p>\n

Playing hide and seek under the box<\/p>\n

Surely your presence was a lot.<\/p>\n

As man and woman challenges we face,<\/p>\n

When in sorrow, pain and disgrace<\/p>\n

When all seems lost and no way out<\/p>\n

You always seem to be around.<\/p>\n

Some do choose to stay in you,<\/p>\n

\u2018Cause they know not what to do.<\/p>\n

But through all the struggles and the fights,<\/p>\n

Some always seem to head to the light.<\/p>\n

At the end of the road life comes to an end<\/p>\n

And really takes us away from our friends.<\/p>\n

And you darkness awaits and rightly so,<\/p>\n
