In order to better prepare for the review of the 30th anniversary of World Rivers Day (WRD) carded for September 26, the WRD Committee will be conducting a survey of the rivers in Dominica.<\/p>\n
Participants will be asked the following questions:<\/p>\n
1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Is the river in your community \u2018healthy\u2019?
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Is your Village Council river-friendly?
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Is your Parliamentarian Representative river-friendly?
\n4.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Are the businesses in the vicinity of the river (s) river friendly?
\n5.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Have your Village Council conducted test to ascertain the status of the water in your community?
\n6.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Are there living creatures in your river?
\n7.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Are you familiar with the creatures in your river?
\n8.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Is your river better today than in the past?
\n9.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Do you think you can do any thing to reclaim your river?
\n10.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0What do you think can be done to save our rivers?<\/p>\n
