I am a 17-year-old and I lent my mom’s phone to go online.<\/p>\n
Then I saw a message show up on her WhatsApp and I read it.<\/p>\n
It was a man who she has saved as B.L. I Don\u2019t know who he is but they were having sexual conversations.<\/p>\n
I even saw she sent him a pic of herself and making general statements like \u201cIt was good indeed\u201d and there was another one which says, \u201cwhat hubby don\u2019t know, won\u2019t kill him\u201d.<\/p>\n
Now, Bella, my father works hard to take care of his family and he travels a lot but that\u2019s no reason to cheat on him.<\/p>\n
My parents have been married for years and just the thought of not seeing my parents together makes me want to cry.<\/p>\n
I feel embarrassed to confront my mom and I am wondering whether I should tell dad.<\/p>\n
But that might cause problems and mess up my life.<\/p>\n

I think you should talk to your mother.<\/p>\n It can be quite embarrassing to speak to your mom about something like that but I think you should.<\/p>\n You can write her a letter if you want to express your concerns because It can be hard facing your mother with something like that.<\/p>\n Your mother is making a very human mistake but on the other hand, your family as you know it could be threatened or irreparably damaged by her mistake.<\/p>\n What’s important is for you to tell her how hurt and disappointed you would be if that were true.<\/p>\n There’s no way it wouldn’t impact her thinking.<\/p>\n Whether she admits\/denies it or not is irrelevant. Expect defense, denial, ‘it’s none of your business’, ‘there are things you don’t understand’, etc.<\/p>\n What’s important is that she hears you on your feelings.<\/p>\n It may just bring her back to Earth and make her realize what she is risking.<\/p>\n Best Have a problem?
