{"id":197340,"date":"2018-05-04T12:15:38","date_gmt":"2018-05-04T16:15:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/?p=197340"},"modified":"2019-03-17T12:11:56","modified_gmt":"2019-03-17T16:11:56","slug":"ncds-your-spirit-soul-and-thoughts-article-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/homepage\/features\/commentary\/ncds-your-spirit-soul-and-thoughts-article-2\/","title":{"rendered":"NCDs \u2013 Your spirit, soul, mind and heart Article 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-197342 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/NCDS-e1525449990207.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"314\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/NCDS-e1525449990207.jpg 314w, https:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/NCDS-e1525449990207-300x213.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>LOVE &amp; OBEDIENCE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this second article on the subject of <strong>Non Communicable Disease, (NCD\u2019s), <\/strong>I continue to share my biblical views on the health crisis affecting our nation, and the world.<\/p>\n<p>In considering this issue from a <strong>Bible-based <\/strong>perspective, we begin to see that in fact <strong>science<\/strong> and the <strong>Bible <\/strong>are not that far apart.\u00a0 The difference is that the <strong><em>spirit of man <\/em><\/strong>is not recognized in the scientific and medical community.\u00a0 We are made up of three dimension, <strong>Spirit, Soul <\/strong>and <strong>Body<\/strong>, operating as the <strong>Whole Man<\/strong>. Too often we concentrate on the <strong>Body<\/strong> and <strong>Soul<\/strong>, while leaving out the <strong>Spirit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Again, very importantly, since Dominica is a Nation that believes in\u00a0<strong>God,<\/strong>\u00a0consequently, it follows that <strong>God should naturally be involved, in this matter. God cannot be left out.\u00a0<\/strong>My views on this health crisis, stems from a<strong> Godly and Biblical perspective. <\/strong>The answers are in <strong>GOD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Matt. 22:37-38,\u00a0 Jesus said,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thou shalt <strong>LOVE <\/strong>the Lord thy God with all thy <strong><u>HEART<\/u><\/strong>, and with all thy <strong><u>SOUL<\/u><\/strong>, and with all thy <strong><u>MIND<\/u>. <\/strong>This is the first and great commandment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The second is like unto it, thou shalt <strong>LOVE <\/strong>thy <strong><u>neighbor<\/u> <\/strong>as <strong><u>thyself<\/u><\/strong><u>.<\/u> On these two commandments hang all the Laws and all the Prophets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this scripture Jesus informs us that we were created for <strong><u>relationships.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First , we must <strong>love <\/strong>God, with <strong>heart, soul, mind<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Second, we must <strong>Love <\/strong>our self, with <strong>heart, soul, mind <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Thirdly, we must <strong>Love <\/strong>our neighbor (others), with <strong>heart, soul, mind.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Neighbor refers to every other person\/human being on planet Earth. Therefore, it is very clear to understand that in looking at the <strong><u>Spiritual Roots of a disease<\/u><\/strong>, we can now understand that every illness is caused by a <strong><em><u>separation<\/u><\/em><\/strong> of <strong><u>LOVE <\/u><\/strong>on one of these <strong><u>three<\/u><\/strong> areas. We can now check <strong>ourselves<\/strong>. Is it that we have disobeyed <strong>God<\/strong>, not <strong>loving <\/strong>Him with all our <strong>Heart <\/strong>and <strong>Soul<\/strong> and <strong>Mind, <\/strong>or it is that we do not <strong>Love ourself<\/strong>, when we speak hateful and negative words against <strong>ourself. <\/strong>feeling guilty and not forgiving <strong>ourself. <\/strong>This is called (self hatred), and thirdly, when we do not have <strong>Love <\/strong>for our <strong>neighbor <\/strong><strong>(others<\/strong>), having resentment, unforgiveness, bitterness, and evil in our h<strong>earts,<\/strong> <strong>soul <\/strong>and <strong>mind<\/strong>, against those with whom we have issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>HEART &amp; MIND <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>(Thoughts &amp; Imagination)<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthew 22: 37- 38<\/strong>, informs us that we are to L<strong>OVE<\/strong> with all our <strong>HEART, SOUL and MIND<\/strong>. This tells us that in understanding how the <strong>Spirit Soul and Body <\/strong>operate as one, we see that the <strong>heart<\/strong> is in the <strong>Body <\/strong>and the <strong>mind<\/strong> is in the <strong>Soul, <\/strong>along with the <strong>Emotions <\/strong>and <strong>Free will<\/strong>. The <strong>Spirit<\/strong> is who we are, as seen in <strong>1<sup>st<\/sup> Tess. 5:23. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>God, our Heavenly Father, <strong>LOVES<\/strong> us, His children, so very much that he informs us in <strong>Ecclesiastes 3:11<\/strong>, He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put e<strong>ternity <\/strong>in our <strong>Hearts. <\/strong>Meaning that all information on our life destiny from birth, is placed in our <strong>heart. <\/strong>We can now see why our <strong>hearts <\/strong>are very important.<\/p>\n<p>How do the Spirit, Soul and Body operate\/function as one?\u00a0 They operate through the <strong>Heart <\/strong>in the <strong>Body <\/strong>and the <strong>Mind <\/strong>which is in the <strong>Soul<\/strong>. The activity begins with our <strong>five (5) senses<\/strong>, predominantly, what we <strong>SEE and HEAR<\/strong>. Very quickly, within seconds signals are sent directly to the brain, where the <strong>mind<\/strong> is located, and immediately the t<strong>hinking\/suggestions <\/strong>begin with <strong>thoughts\/imaginations<\/strong>. These t<strong>houghts<\/strong> release <strong>energy <\/strong>to the trillion cells in our <strong>body<\/strong>, but specially to the <strong>Heart, <\/strong>which is like the <strong>Central Processing Unit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If the <strong>sight <\/strong>or s<strong>ound<\/strong> is unpleasant, within seconds a <strong>spirit of fear <\/strong>will come in, causing activity in the form of a narrowing of the blood vessels so there is a resistance to the flow of blood, thus increasing the pressure because of the back-up in the coronary vessels of the <strong>heart, <\/strong>causing high blood pressure, strokes, heart attacks, and other related illness. (<em>See Author of \u201cA more Excellent Way by Henry W. Wright\u201d)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Proverbs 4:23<\/strong>, states. \u201c<strong><em>Keep thy HEART with all diligence; for out of it are the <u>ISSUES OF LIFE<\/u>\u201d. <\/em><\/strong>All our <strong>life issues <\/strong>are stored in the <strong>Heart. Author Cindy Trimm puts it that way, \u201cissues in our tissues).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANSWERS TO HEALING:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acknowledge the need for healing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Recognize the area of the separation of<\/p>\n<p>(1)\u00a0 Love\u00a0 of\u00a0 <strong>God<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(2)\u00a0\u00a0 Love of <strong>self<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(3)\u00a0\u00a0 Love of <strong>neighbour (others<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Repent\/reconcile with<\/p>\n<p>(1) God,<\/p>\n<p>(2) self, and<\/p>\n<p>(3) neighbour (others)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Repentance prayer-Job 33:27 \u201328\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(If I have sinned and perverted what was right and it did not profit me; He will redeem his <u>soul<\/u> from going down to the pit and his <u>life<\/u>\u00a0 shall see the light).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Psalms 103:3-4; <\/strong>Who <strong>forgives ALL<\/strong> your <strong>iniquities<\/strong>; who <strong>heals ALL<\/strong> your <strong>disease;<\/strong> who redeems your l<strong>ife<\/strong> from <strong>destructi<\/strong><strong>on:<\/strong> &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Note that there is a direct correlation between <strong>forgiveness<\/strong> <strong>and healing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Find\u00a0 scriptures to memorize on a daily basis.\u00a0 <strong>Believing<\/strong> and repeating the scriptures is <strong>health <\/strong>to your <strong>flesh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>(Jer. 30:17 \u2013But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds declares the Lord) <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Proverbs:17:22 <\/strong>Laughter is <strong><em><u>medicine<\/u><\/em><\/strong>, but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Find something positive to l<strong>augh<\/strong> at, and <strong>laugh<\/strong> your way to bringing total <strong>healing <\/strong>to yourself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proverbs 23:7 A<\/strong>s a man <strong>thinketh in his heart <\/strong>so is he:\u2013 As you are <strong>thinking, <\/strong>so you are generating <strong>energy<\/strong>. It is this energy that will bring about your total <strong>healing, <\/strong>which is <strong>matter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Concerning Fear : 1 John 4:18\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 There is no fear in <strong>love<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 Perfect <strong>love<\/strong> cast out all fear<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 Fear has torment<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 He that feareth is not made perfect in love<\/p>\n<p><strong>2 Timothy 1:7<\/strong>&#8211; I have not given you a <strong>spirit of fear <\/strong>but instead a <strong>spirit of love, power and sound mind. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>God\u2019s WORD in Proverbs 6:22, states \u201c\u00a0<strong><em><u>When you go, it will lead you, when you sleep it will keep you, when you are awake, they will speak to you.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have seen many persons healed, almost immediately, once they understood that it is the <strong>spiritual root of the disease<\/strong>, meaning their <strong>lifestyle<\/strong> and their circumstances\/situation that are affecting their lives, thereby causing them to become ill, and not necessarily the food that they are eating.<\/p>\n<p>I would also like to say that the views expressed in this article are my interpretation of God\u2019s Word, and are based on scripture verses as referred throughout this article. If anyone is ill and would like to get healed, then do what our Heavenly Father says in His WORD. Just Obey.
