Jeffery Baptiste<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

LIME is preparing to wrap up what its General Manager Jeffery Baptiste says is a \u201cchallenging\u201d but \u201csuccessful\u201d year for the company.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are spending less,\u201d Baptiste told journalists on Monday as the company launched its newest \u2018Christmas Remix\u2019 promotion.<\/p>\n

He said also that one couldn\u2019t ignore the movement of competition in the telecommunications market, which has undoubtedly not been immune to the global financial recession.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are still at a safe place amidst the competition and challenges. Our customers are recognizing that LIME is a local company. They recognize the value,\u201d Baptiste said.<\/p>\n

For 2011 the general manager shows optimism. He said LIME will continue to build on the investments made this year and aspires to do as much as the economics and public support will permit.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we look towards 2011 we see continued commitment,\u201d Baptiste said, citing Carnival 2011 as one of the first activities to see major improvements from LIME.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are standing in a good place.
