\"\"At 5am, Tropical Storm Karen was located approximately 340 miles south west of Dominica. Unstable conditions associated with Karen will continue to produce cloudiness, scattered showers which could be moderate to heavy at times and possible isolated thunderstorms across the island chain, including Dominica, during the next 24 hours.<\/p>\n

People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to exercise extreme caution during the period.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Thirteen formed overnight in the Far Eastern Tropical Atlantic. The Depression is expected to become a tropical storm later today and is currently projected to remain over open water.<\/p>\n

Rough seas are expected during the next 12 to 24 hours with waves peaking between 8.0 to 10.0 feet. A small craft warning remains in effect for above normal seas.
