Below are photos of the parliamentary opposition-led \u201cpeaceful assemblies\u201d now under way in Roseau. The gatherings are part of a\u00a0 series of actions announced by the opposition United Workers Party (UWP) to press their demands for an accounting by Prime Minister Skerrit of $1.2 billion which Opposition Leader Lennox Linton insists should have been included in 2019-2020 national budget.<\/p>\n

The actions included a gathering on Victoria Street to present a formal complaint to the President of the Commonwealth of DOMINICA requesting his intervention, a gathering outside Police Headquarters on Bath road to present a formal complaint to the Commissioner of Police requesting his intervention and a peaceful gathering on the Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard outside of the High Court to present notification of the pursuit of appropriate legal action to have the missing money deposited in the consolidated fund of Dominica<\/p>\n
