If you are not a peacemaker, according to the above scripture you are not a child of God.\u00a0\u00a0You see, the opposite of peace is war which most time originates because of confusion and the Bible says that God is not the author of confusion.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cFor God is not the\u00a0<strong>author <\/strong>of\u00a0<strong>confusion<\/strong>, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.\u201d\u00a0\u00a01 Corinthians\u00a014:33\u00a0\u00a0The question is, if God is not the author of confusion who is?\u00a0\u00a0Yes, you got it right, the devil.\u00a0\u00a0People who allow themselves to be tools of the devil instigate and generate relationship wars on all levels.<\/p>\n<p>Confusion is linked to deceit.\u00a0\u00a0Liars are full of the devil.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cYe are of your\u00a0<strong>father<\/strong> the\u00a0<strong>devil<\/strong>, and the lusts of your\u00a0<strong>father<\/strong> ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the\u00a0<strong>father<\/strong> of it.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0St. John\u00a08:44\u00a0\u00a0You see the double standard life will not work.\u00a0\u00a0You are either a child of God or of your father the devil.<\/p>\n<p>In life there will always be situations, there will always be conflicts, disagreements and misunderstandings and that is because we are not perfect and the flesh tries to rule.\u00a0\u00a0However, when we get in situations of conflict we should try our best to resolve them in peace.\u00a0\u00a0This is not always possible because you may want peace while the other person\/persons involved are ready for war.\u00a0\u00a0However, we still need to be peace makers with the strength of the Lord and to the best of our abilities by doing what God tells us to do and leaving the rest to Him. \u201cIf it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live\u00a0peaceably\u00a0<strong>with <\/strong><strong>all <\/strong><strong>men<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Romans\u00a012:18\u00a0\u00a0You see peace is linked to holiness.\u00a0\u00a0When you walk holy you have a desire to make peace and be at peace.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cFollow\u00a0<strong>peace<\/strong> <strong>with<\/strong> <strong>all<\/strong> <strong>men<\/strong>, and holiness,\u00a0without which no man shall see the Lord.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Hebrews 12:14<\/p>\n<p>Some people, even in the Body of Christ seem to have the word Confusion written on their foreheads.\u00a0\u00a0Always in say-say and melee.\u00a0\u00a0When a gossip fire is burning instead of trying to put it out they use their tongues and add fuel to the flame.\u00a0\u00a0However, if it gets out of control as would usually be the case, they try to wiggle themselves out of it or try to appear as the innocent victim instead of who they really are, the instigator.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cDepart from evil, and do good; seek\u00a0<strong>peace<\/strong>, and pursue it.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Psalm 34:14\u00a0\u00a0On the other hand there are those who do not want others to live in peace so they try their best to get them in matters of confusion by twisting truth and conjugating lies. Beware!\u00a0\u00a0\u201cFor they speak not\u00a0<strong>peace<\/strong>: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Psalm 35:20\u00a0Such people have their reward and most times cannot take what they dish out.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cAs for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but\u00a0<strong>peace<\/strong> shall be upon\u00a0Israel.\u201d\u00a0Psalm 125:5<\/p>\n<p>We are almost of the close of another year and many people need to make peace with God as well as individuals. For some, it\u2019s their very own family for others its family in the Body of Christ.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s a very sad thing when there is confusion and war among family members to the point where some do not talk to each other.\u00a0\u00a0For many, God is saying, \u201cNow is the time to make it right\u201d for your soul is at stake.\u00a0\u00a0If God has been speaking to you about such a situation you need to obey Him for until you do you will have no peace.\u00a0\u00a0Many live in regret because they fail to make peace with a person and then the person dies, while others are still holding evil for people who are in their graves.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s not worth it.\u00a0\u00a0Our souls are precious.\u00a0\u00a0Make the apology before the eulogy.\u00a0\u00a0Make peace with God, make peace with your fellow men.<\/p>\n<p>In order to have peace and be peacemakers we must keep our minds on the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ and not be entangled with the world, the flesh and the devil.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThou wilt keep him in perfect\u00a0<strong>peace<\/strong>, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Isaiah 26:3\u00a0\u00a0We must seek to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and we must love and obey His Word.\u00a0\u00a0\u201c<strong>Great<\/strong> <strong>peace<\/strong> have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Psalm 119:162<\/p>\n<p>It is our prayer today that all of us will allow the Prince of Peace to rule and reign in our hearts and lives and that in so doing we will be peacemakers and receive God\u2019s blessings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u201cBlessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God\u201d\u00a0St. Matthew 5:9 God is calling us to be peacemakers.
