Dear Sirs: Can I please, through your web site, pass a message of thanks and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year to the wonderful people of Dominica.<\/p>\n

My wife and I spent a truly amazing three-week holiday with you in March of this year. This was a very special trip as my wife was born in Portsmouth 53 years ago when her father, Dr. Hamblett, was the doctor for the north of the island from 1955 to 1959. Jen was born in 1957, but the family left when she was three years old and this was her first trip home 50 years later. I use the word home because we both really did feel at home and that was particularly so when people found out Jen’s connection with the island.<\/p>\n

We will certainly be back.<\/p>\n

So we have a family tradition that we bring back from any holiday: some bottles of local beer – one to open on Christmas Day; the other on New Year’s Eve. So we will be opening a couple of Kubuli’s then remembering our brilliant time with you and toasting the wonderful people of Dominica.<\/p>\n
