I am all into giving and supporting people in need. Don\u2019t get me wrong. I am a very generous person. But I have a problem with the fact that ALL my husband\u2019s support seems to be leaning on this one young lady.<\/p>\n
I found out by accident that he pays for a house that she is now living in. I wouldn\u2019t say she is a friend of our family but she has always been my husband\u2019s friend.<\/p>\n
He said since she was in high school, he looked out for their family. And honestly even before we were married, he was indeed close to their entire household.<\/p>\n
Now this girl has grown up and is now about 27. She moved out of her mothers\u2019 home and now lives alone.<\/p>\n
She works at a store in town and I know they don\u2019t pay too much money so my husband said he was paying her rent until she can find greener pastures.<\/p>\n
I happened to find out about the luxurious apartment that she was renting and asked him how she could afford it when she just works in that Chinese store in town.<\/p>\n
He \u201cmahmoete\u201d and then he admitted he pays it for her until she travels to St Thomas. I never even knew the girl had Visa but anyway\u2026<\/p>\n
Then I found a grocery bill in his wallet of over $700. I am the one who does groceries\u00a0Bella. So, I asked him about it and he said well he helps her with food every month.<\/p>\n
Bella, I don\u2019t like the vibes I\u2019m getting. I asked him if she doesn\u2019t have a man to help her. He said \u201cno\u201d.<\/p>\n
A beautiful young woman like that has nobody in Dominica? Unless that somebody is my husband.<\/p>\n
I am not a troublemaker\u00a0Bella\u00a0but something happened last week that really have me angry. I went by a certain hire purchase store to take something for my brother. His workplace doesn\u2019t do salary deductions so I told him I would take it on my name and he pays me.<\/p>\n
When they asked me for a reference, I gave them my husbands name. When the woman put his name in the system she said \u201cok we already have his contact info and location\u201d<\/p>\n
So, I inquired how was my husbands name in a system that we never used to buy stuff. We never took stuff on hire purchase before. Everything at home was bought cash.<\/p>\n
The woman said well he bought sofa, fridge, stove and even a queen size bed on hire purchase months ago.<\/p>\n
The same time this girl got the house. I asked him and he said well he helped her because her salary was small.<\/p>\n
Bella\u00a0I can\u2019t take this anymore. I am having the feeling to go to that woman house and confront her and smash all the things in her house.<\/p>\n
Am I being overzealous?<\/p>\n

I truly understand your anger and concern but what I don\u2019t understand is your desire to confront the woman and not your husband.<\/p>\n
All the rage that you feel should be leveled at your husband who clearly seem to be the one you should be concerned with.<\/p>\n
He is the one living at your home and he seem to be taking pleasure in helping this family friend.<\/p>\n
He hasn\u2019t lied to you. He admitted to doing these things so that\u2019s a start. Another man would lie his way out of that situation.<\/p>\n
So now that you have a confession-sort of-, you take it from there.<\/p>\n
Let your husband know you are very concerned about his behavior. He is obviously being too generous. And if this woman is travelling soon as he told you, why put yourself in so much expense?<\/p>\n
I believe your husband needs to tell you the full story. I don\u2019t think confronting the woman is best at this time. Or at any time as a matter of fact.
