As a mark of reflection, Dominica will observe three days of prayer and fasting from Friday 25th June (today) to Sunday 27th June.<\/p>\n

“The government of the Commonwealth of Dominica is mindful of the goodness and mercies of God to us as a people, not only in preserving us during the Covid-19 Pandemic, but also for his constant help and protection during all our many endeavors in the past,\u201d Minister of Governance, Public Service Reform, Citizen Empowerment, Social Justice and Ecclesiastical Affairs, Gretta Roberts said.\u201cAs a mark of reflection and thanksgiving, we acknowledge that God has indeed been good to us…\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Roberts prayers will be offered during the course of the day at 9:00AM, 12 noon and 3:00PM on various radio stations to pray for protection during the hurricane season and the Covid-19 Pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also pray for a spirit of unity, brotherhood and togetherness so that we may live peaceable lives as children of God,\u201d she indicated.<\/p>\n
