{"id":288745,"date":"2022-08-10T07:43:14","date_gmt":"2022-08-10T11:43:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/?p=288745"},"modified":"2022-08-10T13:33:19","modified_gmt":"2022-08-10T17:33:19","slug":"dominica-police-investigate-death-of-31-year-old-female","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/homepage\/homepage-carousel\/dominica-police-investigate-death-of-31-year-old-female\/","title":{"rendered":"Dominica police investigate death of 31-year-old female"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-246267\" src=\"https:\/\/dominicanewsonline.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/police-investigation.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"288\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is investigating the death of Louisa Dorothy Prince,\u00a0 a 31-year-old female of Bath Road, Roseau who appeared to have been electrocuted on Monday 8, August 2022 in Beau Bois.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to reports from Acting Inspector Fixton Henderson at about 6:30 pm Prince was found unresponsive in a greenhouse at the back of the house where she resided in Beau Bois.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cShe had apparent burns to her abdominal region and her knees, she appeared to have been electrocuted,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He said she was examined and pronounced dead by a medical doctor on the scene at 9:03 pm that same evening.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Her body is being kept at a funeral home awaiting an autopsy.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Investigations surrounding her death continue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is investigating the death of Louisa Dorothy Prince,\u00a0 a 31-year-old female of Bath Road, Roseau who appeared to have been electrocuted on Monday 8, August 2022 in Beau Bois.
