Representing the Haitian Kompa music will be K-Dilack and Bedjine,\u00a0 well-known Haitian artist\/band Enposib, Chire Lakay as well as\u00a0 French singer of reggae-dancehall music Admiral T.<\/p>\n<p>Significantly, this year&#8217;s lineup includes several local artists including the WCMF veterans Bouyon Boss\u2019 Asa Bantan and TK international.<\/p>\n<p>Also expected to rock the festival are bouyon legends, WCK and the almost 40-year-old versatile First Serenade band. Also on the lineup will be Dominica\u2019s cadence icons Midnight Groovers.<\/p>\n<p>Fans will also be treated with \u2018the youngest and the baddest\u2019 Signal Band, Dominica&#8217;s number one dancehall artist Colton T and Dominica\u2019s very own Kompa band the Extacy band.<\/p>\n<p>Making their first appearance as solo artists on the big stage will be \u2018the fresh prince of boyoun\u2019 Reo ok Boom and \u2018Bouyon queen\u2019 Carlyn XP.<\/p>\n<p>As announced, season tickets will be sold at a cost of 375 dollars, however, patrons do have the opportunity to take advantage of the early bird special of 300 on the Dominica Festival Comittee (DFC) website.<\/p>\n<p>Nightly tickets are also being sold at EC$150.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Four of\u00a0 Jamaica\u2019s big name artists, namely, reggae superstars Sizzla,\u00a0 Dexta Daps,\u00a0 Christopher Martin as well as \u2018dancehall princess\u2019 Shenseea are among the major acts who will hit the big stage of the World Creole Music Festival (WCMF) 2022.
