Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has confirmed that he has advised Governor General Sir Rodney Williams to dissolve Parliament as of Friday, December 16, 2022.<\/p>\n

The proclamation from the Governor General is expected to follow shortly.<\/p>\n

Speculation is high that Prime Minister Browne will announce the date of the elections next<\/p>\n

On Friday Information Minister, Medford Nicholas said the prime minister could announce the date of elections when the ABLP kicks off its political campaign with the launch of the party’s candidates on Monday night<\/p>\n
