Ashma McDougall<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The much-anticipated Dominica State College (DSC) Mas Jamboree pageant has been postponed until April this\u00a0year.<\/p>\n

Director of Student Activities at the DSC, Ashma McDougall made the disclosure during a press conference held recently.<\/p>\n

According to her, Carnival has been long anticipated since the two-year hiatus and the festivities and parades do reflect an enviable experience for \u2018Mas Ah Lawi\u2019 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Dominica State College Mas Jamboree Pageant has grown to add value to pageantry in Dominica and we are quite impressed with the evolution of our product over the last 10 years,\u201d she said. \u201cMany partners, stakeholders, and patrons have recognized the absence of the Mas Jamboree product since the launch of the 2023 Real Mas and we wish to capitalize on this opportunity to announce the postponement of our pageant to April 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n

McDougall continued, \u201cOur team is currently working through logistics, navigating preparations between our blended modalities of interaction.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said the DSC Mas Jamboree Committee remains steadfast in revisiting the structure of the pageant to improve the production in April.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, McDougall stated that the value of the DSC Jamboree continues to grow and remains unparalleled, \u201c as many former Mas Jamboree queens, as well as participants alike, go on to compete on the national stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

She informed the general public that more updates will be provided by the committee in the coming weeks and so persons are asked to follow the social media platform (Facebook), which is \u2018The Dominica State College\u2019.<\/p>\n

Meantime, McDougall took the opportunity to wish all revelers and patrons of this year\u2019s Carnival product a peaceful yet fun-filled gratifying experience.<\/p>\n

The last show was held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.<\/p>\n

Law Enforcement Major, Deniscia Laurent captured that title.<\/p>\n
