Najah Georges of the Thibaud Primary School has won the 2023 Carnival Princess title.<\/p>\n

The 11-year-old\u00a0won the awards for best in costume and the People\u2019s Choice Award at a competition held at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium on Sunday, February 5.<\/p>\n

Georges was sponsored by Fine Foods Inc.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel excited and happy,\u201d she said to the media moments after she was crowned. \u201cI had to work hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Georges announced her interest to participate in the Miss Teen Dominica Pageant and the Miss Dominica Pageant in the future.<\/p>\n

Zaheer Toussaint of the Roseau Primary School secured the first runner-up spot, capturing the award for Miss Photogenic, while Dernisha Darroux who represented Goodwill Primary School placed second runner-up. She received the award for Best Talent.<\/p>\n

Eliz Charles of Will Strathmore Stevens Primary School received the awards for Miss Intelligent and Best in Party Dress.<\/p>\n

Mikayla Christmas of the St Martin Primary School won the award for Miss Congeniality.<\/p>\n

In 2020, Nyanna Stevens, brought home the crown to the Will Strathmore Stevens Primary School, marking the school\u2019s second consecutive win.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
