According to him, he set fire to the home of the former Chief Magistrate based on the directives of Earl \u2018Seko\u2019 Grant who was also charged with conspiracy to commit arson.<\/p>\n<p>In his confession, Shillingford said he was paid in part to carry out the firebombing on Emanuel\u2019s home. He said he was coming clean because those who instructed him did not stick to their end of the bargain.<\/p>\n<p>Following the Preliminary Inquiry at the Magistrate\u2019s court, Shillingford was indicted on a lesser charge of malicious damage. However, when the matter came for hearing on June 9, 2023, the DPP, Sherma Dalrymple informed the court of the notice of discontinuance.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, Shillingford walked away from the court a free man.
