Dr. Irving McIntyre will present the 2023\/2024 national budget at the Third Meeting of the First Session of the Eleventh Parliament on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Finance will seek parliamentary approval of Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year ending June 30, 2024, amounting to one billion, two hundred and thirty-four million, five hundred and twenty-four thousand, and thirty-six dollars (ECD$1, 234, 524, 036.00).<\/p>\n<p>The Draft Estimates of Expenditure for the fiscal year 2023\/2024 includes total recurrent expenditure of five hundred and thirty-two million, nine hundred and fifty-four thousand, one hundred and sixty-four dollars (ECD$532, 954, 164) and capital expenditure of seven hundred and one million, five hundred and sixty-nine thousand, eight hundred and seventy-two dollars (ECD$701, 569, 872).<\/p>\n<p>The proceedings of the House commence at 10:00 a.m. and will be broadcast live via the Government Information Service (GIS) and the Dominica Broadcasting Service (DBS).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Roseau, Dominica-July 20, 2023: Minister of Finance, Economic Development, Climate Resilience and Social Security, Hon.
