Bus drivers from the east who were on strike have resumed services transporting school children to the Castle Bruce Secondary School and various primary schools, after reaching an agreement with the government of Dominica, ending the anxiety of not knowing how they were going to pay their bills at the end of the month.<\/p>\n

Strike action had been taken due to what drivers felt to be the injustice of late salaries.<\/p>\n

From a reliable and credible source, DNO has learned that an agreement was reached between drivers and the government where \u201cpayment was made to secondary school bus drivers on Tuesday, and for primary school drivers, payment will be made at the end of November 2023. \u201d<\/p>\n

It was confirmed by a very happy and satisfied bus driver.\u00a0 He further added, \u201cI am now on the road transporting children to the Castle Bruce Secondary School because I got my money\u201d.<\/p>\n

This signals the resolution of a tense situation not only for drivers but also for parents who must have been concerned about the education of their children and principals who are responsible for
