As excitement builds to a crescendo in anticipation of the 2024 carnival season, the unrivalled maestros of revelry, TK International, are gearing up to take the festivities to unprecedented heights with the grand debut of\u00a0 “Prismatic.”<\/p>\n
Pledging an unparalleled carnival extravaganza, the band’s 2024 Mega Monday event pledges to be a sensory delight, embracing sensuality, vibrancy, and unrestrained excitement that will undoubtedly leave revellers spellbound. During the official launch of the fourth edition of the upcoming Mega Monday set for February 12, 2024, band leader Kendel Laurent assured that next year’s event, which typically attracts 1500 to 2000 patrons annually, will provide a unique experience and etch its name in the annals of history. Thrills will reach unprecedented levels as Prismatic introduces innovative elements to the carnival landscape, when the bouyon band dubbed Kings of the Road celebrates its 25th anniversary.<\/p>\n
As elucidated by Jeoffrey Joseph, TK International Manager, backup keyboardist, and vocalist, a quarter of a century ago, a group of village friends united to showcase their musical talent. Today, they have evolved into the foremost musical and entertainment powerhouse on the island and in the bouyon world.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo it really is a surreal moment for me to stand before you here this afternoon as the manager of the best band, as we launch the best production for the best Mega Monday 2024,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
\u201cMega Monday is, as far as the plans are going, going to be arguably the best production that Dominica has ever seen,\u201d Joseph declared.<\/p>\n
He emphasised that navigating through a myriad of challenges, TK International has weathered the test of time and takes pride in commemorating this silver jubilee alongside the thousands of fans and numerous partners who have steadfastly supported them through thick and thin.<\/p>\n
Therefore, the theme for Mega Monday 2024, celebrating TK’s 25th anniversary, is encapsulated in the essence of “celebration, vibrancy, colour, and flair, all captured in one spectacular experience: Prismatic.”<\/p>\n
He explains that each section will embody the spirit of “sexy, celebratory fun,” with the aim of immersing patrons in the mood to \u201csewo with their band.\u201d<\/p>\n
A kaleidoscope of colours will spring to life through five thrilling sections: Showy, a bright depiction of confident sexiness; Chroma, the purity of uninhibited fun; Glare, a dazzlingly tempting highlight; Swank because you got it, you got to flaunt it and Hue, shades of happiness and joy.<\/p>\n
Integrating these elements with the band’s super fun and energetic vibe, alongside a few other DJs and artists and an abundance of drinks and trinkets, Joseph emphasised that the overall experience will be an indescribably euphoric moment for all Mega Monday patrons.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is always our aim to provide a quality product at an affordable price. And we have once again been able to achieve this, he said. \u201cPrismatic will be recorded as the pivotal historical moment when Dominica’s carnival, Mega Monday, and TK rose from international to intergalactic.\u201d<\/p>\n
Striving to transcend the limits of entertainment, the band has amplified the experience by incorporating additional performances from the likes of Unstoppable Shax, the dynamic musical stylings of DJ Wizz and DJ Rio, along with the two rising bouyon artists Gwada G and Nice.<\/p>\n
James Rodney, the band’s Road Manager, Events Coordinator and Administrative Assistant, emphasises TK International’s commitment to pushing the envelope in providing unparalleled experiences for their fans.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor those of you who have been part of us for the past three editions, would have seen that every year we look to push it even higher than the year before. So 2024 is no exception to that,\u201d Rodney stated.<\/p>\n
Throughout the launch, numerous collaborators, such as platinum partner Cosmic Enterprises, agents for Village Ram and Zess Cola, Mega Telecoms partner Digicel, Mega Beer partner Carib, Mega Media partner DBS Radio, and Shirstar Entertainment, affirmed their steadfast commitment to supporting the band, to enhance patrons’ experiences throughout the celebration.<\/p>\n
