Dr. Jasmine Riviere Marcelin<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Dominican-born Dr. Jasmine Riviere Marcelin, MD migrated to Antigua in 1997 with her parents Asquith and Myrtle Riviere.<\/p>\n

Dr. Riviere Marcelin recently graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honour) from American University of Antigua College of Medicine (AUA) having scored a double 99 percent on the USMLE exams, first\u00a0 in October 2008 step one and again in June 2010 in the step two exams.<\/p>\n

Jasmine\u2019s academic journey progressed from the Convent Preparatory Primary School to the Convent High School in Dominica until 1997. It continued at the Christ the King High School from January 1998 and the Antigua State College, from which institutions she graduated in 2000 and 2002 respectively. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Saint Mary\u2019s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, with a double major in Biology and Chemistry, as well as a Diploma in Forensic Sciences.<\/p>\n

Having been awarded a Scholarship by AUA College of Medicine in concurrence with the Government of Antigua\/Barbuda, Jasmine commenced her Medical Studies at the Antigua Campus in September 2006 and never looked back.<\/p>\n

Dr. Riviere Marcelin begins her residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA, on July 1, 2011. She is married to Dr. Alberto Marcelin, son of Delivrance and Paulemie Daut of Florida USA.<\/p>\n

Dr. Marcelin is himself a recent graduate of American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He begins his residency in family Medicine at AnMed Health Medical Centre in South Carolina, USA.<\/p>\n
