Jahshawne Alfred, missing since January 24, was found by police today<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After six days of heart-wrenching uncertainty, the search for the missing 13-year-old boy, Jahshawne Alfred, has come to a positive end. Authorities located him in the Canefield area, providing a sense of relief for his anxious family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Janelle McDowell, a distressed mother from the community of Fond Saint Jean, had been desperately seeking her son since his mysterious disappearance on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Jahshawne, a student, had left school, visited his grandmother’s residence in Pottersville, dropped off his school bag, and casually mentioned that he was going to grab something to eat. Unfortunately, that was the last time he was seen, leaving his family grappling with anxiety and worry.<\/p>\n

In an earlier interview with Dominica News Online (DNO) today, his mother acknowledged that this wasn’t the first time he had gone missing. However, the heightened fears surrounding this particular incident prompted her to report Jahshawne’s disappearance to the police, initiating an investigation to trace his whereabouts.<\/p>\n
