She will compete in the Women\u2019s Triple Jump.<\/p>\n<p>Presently, Thea holds the second spot in the global rankings, boasting a jump of 14.60m.<\/p>\n<p>She earned her ticket to the Championships with a remarkable leap of 14.90m at last year\u2019s World Athletics Outdoor Championships in Budapest, Hungary. The athlete aspires to clinch a medal and surpass her previous fourth-place finish at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, held two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Dominica&#8217;s sole World Athletics Championship medal dates back to 1995 when Jerome Romain seized bronze in the Men\u2019s Triple Jump event, achieving a noteworthy jump of 17.59m in G\u00f6teborg, Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>Set to compete on Sunday, March 3rd, at 6:18 am local time, Thea will face off against fifteen other contenders in her event category.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Aaron Gadson, a certified senior coach recognized by World Athletics will provide guidance and managerial support throughout the Championships.
