Chess players from the Dominica Chess Federation are set to participate in the CARICOM 50th Anniversary Classic Team Chess Tournament in Guyana from March 4th \u2013 9th, 2024.<\/p>\n

The Dominica chess team comprises 2 male and 2 female players – Nicholas Goldberg, Nigel Francis, Zahidu Henry, and Ayani Casimir, along with Larry Thomas as team coach.<\/p>\n

Team members were selected based on being the top two finishers in both the 2023 DCF Open Tournament, and the 2023 Queen\u2019s Gala (an all-female competition).<\/p>\n

The team will leave Dominica for Georgetown on March 3rd and return on March 10th, 2024.<\/p>\n
